HQ Civil, Aviation Authority issued a notification regarding Grant of Bonus to CAA Employees on the Occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr 2019. The competent authority i.e. DGCAA has been pleased to accord approval for grant of bonus to CAA employees (CMM) who were on CAA pay roll as on 30th June, 2018 (CMM) on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr 2019 (CMM) as per the following details:- OFFICERS   EG-1 to EG-9 (50% of Running Basic Pay) STAFF SG-1 to SG-4 ( One Running Basic Pay) SG-5 to SG-8 (One Running Basic Pay Subject to Maximum of Rs.20000/-) SG-9 to SG-11 (One Running Basic Pay Subject to Maximum of Rs.30000/-) CAA Employees who have served during the financial year 2018-19 and retired from CAA service shall also be entitled for the bonus on prorate basis. Government of the Punjab, Directorate General of Special Education issued a notification regarding Summer Vacation in all the Special Education Institutions of Punjab. The schedule of Summer Vacations would be observed in all the Special Education Institutions in Punjab (except for hilly areas) with effect from 1st June, 2019 to 14th August, 2019 (both days inclusive). Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Finance Department (Regulation Wing) issued a letter regarding Up-Gradation of the Post of Sub Accountant and Assistant Accountant. Complaints are being received from teachers that for promotion against the post of Elementary School Teachers, seniority lists are not being prepared in accordance with Punjab School Education Department (School Education) Service Rules, 2014. In some of the districts, seniority lists for promotion against the posts of ESTs are prepared separately for category of EST (Sci), EST (Math), EST (Urdu), EST (Eng) and EST (General) and in some districts two seniority lists are prepared i.e. one for EST(Sci-Math) and one for EST (Arts). This discrimination has created an awkward situation in the districts and also unrest amongst the teachers. Programme Monitoring & Implementation Unit, Punjab Education Sector Reform Programme, Government of the Punjab issued a letter regarding payment of honorarium for insaf afternoon schools. Funds to the tune of Rs.128,154,000/- are being provided to the 22 programme districts as payment of honoraria to the teaching and non-teaching staff of 403 schools (Rs.318,000/- per school) in 22 districts where insaaf afternoon school programme has recently been reported by CEOs / DMOs to become functional. The funds for each district have been placed in the SDAs of the concerned CEOs on 20th May, 2019.

Chief Executive Officer, District Education Authority, Hafizabad issued a letter addressed to all Private Schools of District Hafizabad regarding Collection / Charging of Monthly Fee from Students in Summer Vacations. All the Private Schools are directed to charge fee on monthly basis instead of three month lump sum. The competent authority keeping in view of the demand of teachers regarding correction / addition of their data into SIS has decided to allow public schools to do another round of data corrections that would enable several more teachers to take advantage of the e-transfer system. In this regard data editing by school heads will start at 03:00PM Thursday (23.05.2019) and will continue till 03:00PM Monday (27.05.2019). Afterward, the e-transfer system will start accepting new applications from 03:00PM Monday (27.05.2019) , however, e-transfer applications already submitted will be be affected. Government of the Punjab, School Education Department (Monitoring Wing) issued a letter regarding Revised Minimum Tenure Requirement for E-Transfer for Public School Teachers in Punjab from Three Years to One Year. It is stated that the recently launched e-transfer system is gaining widespread appreciation as well as overwhelming positive response from all stakeholders particularly from the community of respectable teachers for its transparency and convenience of applying via mobile phones especially during the month of Ramzan. Further, in order to facilitate maximum number of teachers, the competent authority has revised the minimum tenure requirement (for transfer eligibility) from three years to one year.
