ADVANCE DISBURSEMENT OF PAY AND PENSION FOR THE MONTH OF MAY 2019

Government of the Punjab, Finance Department (Monitoring Wing) issued a Notification regarding Payment of Pay & Pension of Government Employees and Pensioners of Government of the Punjab for the month of May, 2019.


  • In the wake of 1st & 2nd June, 2019 (Saturday & Sunday) being gazetted holidays, Governor of the Punjab is pleased to approve that pay & pension of Government employees / pensioners of Government of the Punjab may be disbursed on 31st May, 2019 positively as provided in Note-1 below Rule 5.1(2)(e), Punjab Financial Rules Vol-I.

CLARIFICATION REGARDING CHANGE OF PROFESSION IN PASSPORT

Government of Pakistan, Directorate General, Immigration & Passports (Headquarter) issued Clarification regarding Change of Profession in Passport. In continuation of this Directorate General circular of even number dated 11-03-2019. The following clarifications are given as under: Case#1:- Hujjaj who obtained passports in private capacity being a government servant and have deposited their passport with Ministry of Religious Affairs or proceeded abroad for performing Hajj / Hajj duty. COUNTER SIGNATURE ON PERs OF TEACHING STAFF AND THEIR UPLOADING ON SIS

  Directorate of Public Instruction(EE), Punjab Lahore issued directions regarding counter signatures on Performance Evaluation Reports (PERs) of teaching staff and their uploading on School Information System (SIS).           Through a number of complaints received from different corners it has learnt that in the field offices, teachers are facing problems in getting countersignature on their performance evaluation reports(PERs) to update in HRMIS.            The matter has seriously been viewed.
