CLARIFICATION REGARDING REGULARIZATION OF CONTRACT EMPLOYEES

Government of the Punjab, Services & General Administration Department (Regulations / O&M Wing) issued a letter regarding Regularization of Contract Employees. RESERVATION OF VACANCIES QUOTA FOR BAHAWALPUR, DERA GHAZI KHAN, MULTAN DIVISIONS AND DISTRICTS BHAKKAR AND MIANWALI

DATE SHEET FOR PUNJAB EXAMINATION COMMISSION ANNUAL EXAMINATIONS 2019 FOR GRADE 5 & 8

Punjab Examination Commission, Lahore issued Date Sheet for Annual Examinations 2019 for Grade-5 and Grade-8. It is informed that annual examinations for Grade-5 and Grade-8 under Punjab Examination Commission shall commence from 04.02.2019 and continue till 25.02.2019. Moreover, the date sheet for said examination also be obtained by visiting PEC website. IMPERSONATION OF CHIEF MINISTER'S RELATIVES

DETERMINATION OF SALARY OF PRIVATE SCHOOL TEACHER IN LODHRAN

Chief Executive Officer, District Education Authority, Lodhran noticed low salary package of private school teachers and issued a letter determining the salary of private school teachers. Teacher salary of private school must be paid at least Rs.14000/- per month as per standing rules of the state.

IMPLEMENTATION OF PROTECTION AGAINST HARASSMENT OF WOMEN AT WORK PLACE ACT

SUPREME COURT OF PAKISTAN DECISION - SALARY OF ANY EMPLOYEE CANNOT BE WITHHELD AS A PUNISHMENT

The Supreme Court of Pakistan issued an order / decision of writ regarding withholding the salary of employees as punishment. We have partly heard the learned Counsel for the Appellants and the learned Law Officers. We are informed that in certain parts of Balochistan, the salaries have not been paid to the teachers for the Iast 3 o 4 months. The Deputy Secretary, Education Department, present in Court, states that a detailed report will be filed by the department in this respect before the next date of hearing. However, we make it clear that salary of an employer cannot be withheld as a punishment and if a person is found guilty of the misconduct as contemplated under the Balochistan Civil Servants Act / Rules, the department shall proceed.

COMPLETION OF PERFORMANCE EVALUATION REPORTS (PERs) OF CIVIL SERVANTS

AEO CLASSROOM OBSERVATION VISITS APPLICATIONS (ONE FOR ECE CLASSES AND ONE FOR ALL OTHER CLASSES)

Programme Monitoring & Implementation Unit (PMIU), Punjab Education Sector Reform Programme (PESRP), Lahore issued a letter regarding AEO Classroom Observation Visits Applications (one for ECE Classes and one for All Other Classes. The PMIU-PESRP, in consultation with relevant stakeholders, has recently revised the set of 14 indicators included in the Quarterly District Rankings.
