FREE DIGITAL CONTENT FOR GRADE-6 TO GRADE-10 AT PLAY STORE AND E-LEARN WEBSITE

Government of the Punjab, School Education Department, Chief Minister's Monitoring Force, Director (Monitoring) issued a letter regarding Promotion of Digital Content (Campaign - Million App Installations).


  • The Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) under eLearn.Punjab, a project of School Education Department, has developed digital content for Grade 6 to Grade 10 which is freely available on the website:- http://elearn.punjab.gov.pk/ and eLearn App is also available on Google Play store. Textbooks of PCTB related to Physics, Chemistry, Biology. General Science and Math have been developed, augmented with videos, animations, simulations, audios and assessments
  • In order to make it effective and beneficial for teachers and students, you are requested to pass on necessary directions to all heads of schools for conduct of orientation for teachers and parents for the demonstration / promotion of eLearn.Punjab App. Moreover, the students may be given awareness during class sessions.

CLARIFICATION REGARDING CHANGE OF PROFESSION IN PASSPORT

Government of Pakistan, Directorate General, Immigration & Passports (Headquarter) issued Clarification regarding Change of Profession in Passport. In continuation of this Directorate General circular of even number dated 11-03-2019. The following clarifications are given as under: Case#1:- Hujjaj who obtained passports in private capacity being a government servant and have deposited their passport with Ministry of Religious Affairs or proceeded abroad for performing Hajj / Hajj duty. COUNTER SIGNATURE ON PERs OF TEACHING STAFF AND THEIR UPLOADING ON SIS

  Directorate of Public Instruction(EE), Punjab Lahore issued directions regarding counter signatures on Performance Evaluation Reports (PERs) of teaching staff and their uploading on School Information System (SIS).           Through a number of complaints received from different corners it has learnt that in the field offices, teachers are facing problems in getting countersignature on their performance evaluation reports(PERs) to update in HRMIS.            The matter has seriously been viewed.
