PUBLIC AWARENESS NOTICE REGARDING RECRUITMENT OF EDUCATORS IN PUNJAB

  Government of the Punjab, School Education Department issued a public awareness notice regarding recruitment of Educators. It has been noticed by the competent authority that some Testing Services Agencies advertised posts of Educators in School Education Department, Punjab with the name of pre-assessment test for Educators and numbers of queries also received regarding the said issue. The competent authority has desired to inform general public that Punjab Cabinet approved only Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC) for recruitment of all types of Educators, if advertised, and no other Testing Service Agencies are authorized to conduct any kind of test for recruitment of Educators in School Education Department, Punjab.  The general public is requested to avoid such kind of misleading advertisements regarding the Educators Job in School Education Department.

RECRUITMENT POLICY 2015 FOR SCHOOL GUARDS

 Government of the Punjab, School Education Department issued Recruitment Policy 2015 for School Guards. The Government of the Punjab, School Education Department has already allowed the districts to hire Ex-Defense Personnel for the post of School Guards in A and Special A category Schools / GCETs. Number of posts of School Guards is left unfilled due to non-availability of suitable candidates in the district. EDOs have requested in the EDOs Conference that the conditions of respective district domicile may be waived off and also be allowed to include Ex-Ranger Personnel as School Guard.  In continuation of this Department letter of even number dated March 17, 2015, I am directed to convey that the unfilled posts of School Guard in A and special A category Schools / GCETs may be filled through the candidates from amongst Ex-Defense Force Personnel and Ex-Rangers Personnel having domicile of any district of Punjab.  The EDOs (Edu) are directed to fill the unfilled posts of School Guard

NOTIFICATION REGARDING SOUTH PUNJAB SECRETARIAT ALLOWANCE

 Government of the Punjab, Finance Department issued notification regarding grant of South Punjab Secretariat Allowance. CLARIFICATION FOR GRANT OF ADAVACNE INCREMENT TO ENGLISH TEACHERS

  Government of the Punjab, School Education Department issued a clarification regarding grant of advance increment to English Teachers. The case was examined in the Department and observed that the Hon'ble Court's in a number of writ petitions have allowed advance increments to appellants on the basis of higher qualification. The same is also upheld by the apex Court of Pakistan. Therefore, some of the English Teachers are getting the benefit of advance increments on the basis of higher qualification.  In view of the above, the department proposes that the benefit may be extended to all those English Teachers who are at par with those who have been granted the relief.
