SCHEDULE OF BYE ELECTIONS IN NA-45, NA-75, PP-51, PP-63

 Election Commission of Pakistan issued a notification regarding schedule of bye-elections in National Assembly of Pakistan 45 and 75, Provincial Assembly of Punjab 51 and Provincial Assembly of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.


In pursuance of the provisions of Section 57 of the Elections Act, 2017 (Act No. XXXIII of 2017), read with Section 102 thereof and clause (4) of Article 224 and Article 254 of the Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, the Election Commission hereby calls upon the electors of the under-mentioned constituencies of National / Provincial Assembly(s) to elect Members, which have become vacant due to death of incumbent members and specifies in relation thereto, the following dates for Bye-elections: 

National Assembly of Pakistan

  • NA-45 Kurram-I 
  • NA-75 Sialkot 
Provincial Assembly of Punjab
  • PP-51 Gujranwala-I 
Provincial Assembly of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa 

  • PK-63 Nowshera-III

  • Public Notice to be issued by the Returning Officer on 24.12.2020 
  • Dates for filing of nomination papers with the Returning Officer by the candidates 25.12.2020 to 30.12.2020. 
  • Publication of names of the nominated candidates 31.12.2020
  • Last date for Scrutiny of nomination papers by the Returning Officer 06.01.2021
  • Last date for filing of appeals against decisions of the Returning Officer rejecting/accepting the nomination papers 11.01.2021
  • Last date for deciding of appeals by the Appellate Tribunal 18.01.2021
  • Publication of revised list of candidates 19.01.2021
  • Last date for withdrawal of candidature and Publication of revised list of candidates 20.01.2021

CLARIFICATION REGARDING CHANGE OF PROFESSION IN PASSPORT

Government of Pakistan, Directorate General, Immigration & Passports (Headquarter) issued Clarification regarding Change of Profession in Passport. In continuation of this Directorate General circular of even number dated 11-03-2019. The following clarifications are given as under: Case#1:- Hujjaj who obtained passports in private capacity being a government servant and have deposited their passport with Ministry of Religious Affairs or proceeded abroad for performing Hajj / Hajj duty. Clarification#1:- On their return from Saudi Arabia they will change their profession within one month of their return to Pakistan on provision of NOC from the  department concerned and payment of prescribed passport fee and additional fee i.e. Rs.5000/- as the case maybe.  Case#2:-  The government servants who obtained passport before joining of their duties in the respective departments and the passport have been expired and they did not use the passport for travelling abroad.  Clarification#2:- 

CIVIL SERVANTS EFFICIENCY AND DISCIPLINE RULES 2020

  Government of Pakistan, Cabinet Secretariat (Establishment Division) made Civil Servants Efficiency and Discipline Rules, 2020.  Prime Minister approved to make the following rules:-  1. Short title, Commencement and Application:-  (1) These rules shall be called the Civil Servants (Efficiency and Discipline) Rules, 2020.  (2) These shall come into force at once and shall apply to every Civil Servant. 2.  Definitions:-  (1) In these rules, unless there is anything repugnant in the subject or context requires otherwise; (a) "Act" means Civil Servants Act, 1973 (Act No. LXXI of 1973); (b) "accused" means a civil servant against whom action is initiated under these rules; (c) "authority" means the appointing authority as prescribed in rule 6 of the Civil Servants (Appointment, Promotion and Transfer) Rules, 1973: Provided that where proceedings under these rules are to be initiated against two or more civil servants jointly, the authority in relation

COUNTER SIGNATURE ON PERs OF TEACHING STAFF AND THEIR UPLOADING ON SIS

  Directorate of Public Instruction(EE), Punjab Lahore issued directions regarding counter signatures on Performance Evaluation Reports (PERs) of teaching staff and their uploading on School Information System (SIS).           Through a number of complaints received from different corners it has learnt that in the field offices, teachers are facing problems in getting countersignature on their performance evaluation reports(PERs) to update in HRMIS.            The matter has seriously been viewed. In this regard you are directed to make it simple and easy for all teachers through establishing PERs desks in CEO office, where all such teachers who have not yet got countersigned their PERs will submit their PERs for counter signature from the concerned countersigning officer.            The incharge / focal person of desk shall provide these PERs to · concerned counter singing authority through special messenger and after counter signature the counter signing authority will provide PERs t
