PROMOTION SUPERINTENDENTS AND PRIVATE SECRETARIES AS PMS OFFICERS

 Government of the Punjab, Services & General Administration Department issued a notification regarding promotion of Superintendents and Private Secretaries as Provincial Management Service Officers (PMS). 


On the recommendations of Departmental Promotion Committee in its meeting held on 06.08.2020, the following Superintendents & Private Secretaries are hereby promoted as Provincial Management Service (PMS) Officers (BS-17), on regular basis, with immediate effect.


All officers promoted as PMS Officer (BS-17), on regular basis, shall be considered on probation as provided under Rule 7 of the Punjab Civil Servant (Appointment & Condition of Service) Rules, 1974 Their confirmation shall be governed as per conditions mentioned in Column 10 of Schedule of Punjab Provincial Management Service Rules, 2004 (as amended from time to time) for the post of PMS (BS-17).


Their posting orders will be issued separately and their promotion shall be subject to final outcome of cases in courts.

CLARIFICATION REGARDING CHANGE OF PROFESSION IN PASSPORT

Government of Pakistan, Directorate General, Immigration & Passports (Headquarter) issued Clarification regarding Change of Profession in Passport. In continuation of this Directorate General circular of even number dated 11-03-2019. The following clarifications are given as under: Case#1:- Hujjaj who obtained passports in private capacity being a government servant and have deposited their passport with Ministry of Religious Affairs or proceeded abroad for performing Hajj / Hajj duty. COUNTER SIGNATURE ON PERs OF TEACHING STAFF AND THEIR UPLOADING ON SIS

  Directorate of Public Instruction(EE), Punjab Lahore issued directions regarding counter signatures on Performance Evaluation Reports (PERs) of teaching staff and their uploading on School Information System (SIS).           Through a number of complaints received from different corners it has learnt that in the field offices, teachers are facing problems in getting countersignature on their performance evaluation reports(PERs) to update in HRMIS.            The matter has seriously been viewed.
