In supersession of all the earlier directions and to address the emergent needs of the teaching and learning process in public sector schools of all levels, School Education Department has decided to authorize the school councils to hire Part Time Coaches (PTCs) in your respective districts i.e. R.Y Khan, Rajanpur, D.G Khan, Bahawalpur, Bhakkar, Mianwali & Rawalpindi (only for Tehsils Muree & Kotli Sattian).  Apart from teaching to all classes, the main objective of hiring the part time coaches is to support the enrolment drive especially for achieving 100% enrolment of children of ages 5-9 years as well as increasing retention of the students in all classes and to fill the gap of non-availability of Teachers especially in the subjects of English, Urdu, Science & Mathematics. Government of the Punjab, School Education Department issued a notification regarding Schools Timings w.e.f 16-10-2020 to 31-03-2021. The timing of Schools w.e.f. 16-10-2020 to 31-03-2021 shall be observed as:- Single Shift Monday to Thursday & Saturday 8:30 am to 1:30 pm Single Shift  Friday  8:30 am to 12:15 pm  Double Shift Monday to Saturday 8:15 am to 12:15 pm (Morning)  Monday to Thursday & Saturday 1:00 pm to 4:30 pm (Evening) Friday 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm (Evening)  Note:- The Chief Executive Officer (DEA) concerned may make adjustment of 15-minutes in opening and closing time of boys & girls schools on case to case basis keeping in view the local problems but the study hours shall be strictly observed.  The head teacher in consultation with the concerned Controlling Officer may make plan for 10 minute recess (2 times) daily except on Friday with students' break up in such a manner that proper social distancing as per SOPs is maintained.

Government of the Punjab, School Education Department issued precautionary & preventive measures against spread of covid-19 pandemic. Due to continued spread of Covid-19 pandemic new cases have been reported and there is apprehensive of second wave of pandemic. So in order to control its spread following SOPs are required to be followed in letter & spirit:- All the officers / officials must wear face mask as mandatory requirement during the office hours. The staff ensure sanitization of their respective offices. Hand shake and close body contact shall be avoided. All the officers must display sign of No Face Mask No Entry at their office door / entry.
