UP-GRADATION OF A COMPUTER PERSONNEL ON RECOMMENDATIONS OF THE COMMITTEE HEADED BY THE ADDITIONAL CHIEF SECRETARY PUNJAB

Government of the Punjab, Finance Department issued notification regarding upgradation of a computer personnel of Will the Section Officer (A&AB), Government of the Punjab, Planning & Development Board, kindly refer to his letters No.SO.A&AB(P&D)5-20/2020 dated 27.07.2020 & 17.08.2020, on the subject noted above? 


The case has been examined. Administrative Department is advised that the M/S Muhammad Asif and Syed M. Farhan Kamal were appointed as Data Entry Operators on the basis of qualification of Graduate with (2 Div) from HEC recognized University and six months diploma in computer application and 03 years' experience (i) must be proficient in MS Office (ii) typing speed of 35 wpm (iii) good English / Urdu verbal / writing skills. Therefore, they are eligible to be placed as Computer Operator (BS-15) w.e.f. 14.12.2018. According to the Directorate of Monitoring & Evaluation, Planning & Development Department (Service) Rules, 2011, the post held by the above incumbents has no promotion channel i.e. a single tier post. Hence, having more than 8-years' regular service, they are also eligible to the grant of Time Scale Personal Up-gradation in BS-16 with its re-designation as Senior Computer Operator w.e.f. 14.12.2018 in light of Finance Department's, Notification No.FD.PC.40-43/2017(E), dated 14.12.2018.

CLARIFICATION REGARDING CHANGE OF PROFESSION IN PASSPORT

Government of Pakistan, Directorate General, Immigration & Passports (Headquarter) issued Clarification regarding Change of Profession in Passport. In continuation of this Directorate General circular of even number dated 11-03-2019. The following clarifications are given as under: Case#1:- Hujjaj who obtained passports in private capacity being a government servant and have deposited their passport with Ministry of Religious Affairs or proceeded abroad for performing Hajj / Hajj duty. COUNTER SIGNATURE ON PERs OF TEACHING STAFF AND THEIR UPLOADING ON SIS

  Directorate of Public Instruction(EE), Punjab Lahore issued directions regarding counter signatures on Performance Evaluation Reports (PERs) of teaching staff and their uploading on School Information System (SIS).           Through a number of complaints received from different corners it has learnt that in the field offices, teachers are facing problems in getting countersignature on their performance evaluation reports(PERs) to update in HRMIS.            The matter has seriously been viewed.
