CONSTRUCTION OF ROADS IN GUJRANWALA DIVISION

Prime Minister's meeting with ticket holders and notable from Gujranwala Division, construction of various were discussed and decisions in this regard were taken.

Prime Minister of Pakistan convened a meeting with Ticket Holders(PTI) Notables from Gujranwala Division on 12th February, 2020 at Prime Minister's House Islamabad.

The issues highlighted by members of delegation and decisions taken by the Prime Minister of Pakistan are recorded as under: 

  1. Construction of link road from Gujranwala to Sialkot, Lahore Motorway (M-2)
  2. Construction of flyover at Alam Chowk, District Gujranwala
  3. Construction of dual road from Alam Chowk to Hafizabad and bypass Qila Deedar Singh
  4. Construction of dual road from Ali Pur Chowk to Kalasky and Gondlanwala bypass
  5. Construction of dual carpeted road from Maulana Zafar Ali Khan Chowk Wazirabad to Wazirabad Sialkot road (08 km)
  6. Construction of Sewerage system in NA-84. Tehsil Nowshera Warkan Gujranwala.
  7. Construction of following roads in NA-84; Dheelan Wali Phatak to Aimanabad Town (05 KM) and Chahye Wala to Jehlan (02 km)
  8. Pavement of Streets, soling system in 15 different areas of NA-84, Gujranwala.

Prime Minister has desired that above projects may inclusion in next ADP / PSDP after fulfilment of all codal formalities.

GRANT OF ADDITIONAL CHARGE ALLOWANCE

Government of the Punjab, Finance Department issued clarification regarding grant of additional charge allowance. I am directed to refer to this Department's circular letter No.FD.SRII.2-38/70, dated 17.03.1988, on the subject cited above and state that following questions have arisen about the subject matter: Whether additional charge allowance for more than one posts can be granted to the same officer? Whether additional charge allowance against a post lower in status than the incumbent post-of the officer, holding the charge, can be allowed?  The case has been examined in the Finance Department. TIME SCALE UP-GRADATION TO NEXT HIGHER SCALE OF OFFICERS OF PITC

  Managing Director, Pakistan Electric Power Company (PVT.) Limited (PEPCO) issued an office order regarding time scale upgradation of officers of PITC from BPS-19 to BPS-20.
