REQUIRED LENGTH OF SERVICE FOR PROMOTION FROM CHIEF ENGINEER TO GENERAL MANAGER

Water & Power Development Authority, Pakistan issued an office order regarding requirement of service for promotion from CE to GM.

In order to ensure timely promotion of Chief Engineers to the rank of General Managers, the required length of service for promotion from Chief Engineer to General Manager is hereby reduced from 02 years to 01 year for Water and Power Wings.

This issues with the approval of competent authority

CLARIFICATION REGARDING CHANGE OF PROFESSION IN PASSPORT

Government of Pakistan, Directorate General, Immigration & Passports (Headquarter) issued Clarification regarding Change of Profession in Passport. In continuation of this Directorate General circular of even number dated 11-03-2019. The following clarifications are given as under: Case#1:- Hujjaj who obtained passports in private capacity being a government servant and have deposited their passport with Ministry of Religious Affairs or proceeded abroad for performing Hajj / Hajj duty.
