ENHANCEMENT IN MARRIAGE GRANT OF LESCO EMPLOYEES

Lahore Electric Supply Company issued an officer order regarding enhancement of marriage grant to LESCO employees as recommended by PEPCO.


The decision of BoD taken in its 210th meeting held on 8.11.2019 conveyed vide Company Secretary Letter No. LESCO/CS E-M-210-BOD1458 dated 12.11.2019 is hereby notified as under:-

"Board has accorded approval for enhancement of marriage grant as recommended by PEPCO vide letter No.GM(HR)/HRD/A-548/1579-1604 dated 28.8.2018 and further revised vide letter No.5081-94/ MDP/GM(HR) 7 ADG (E) CBA/20 dated 22.05.2019"

  1. Rs. 100.000 (Rupees One Lac only on each event once for all serving employees (Self/two children). 
  2. Rs.200,000/-(Rupees Two Lac only) each for two children of retired /invalided employees and widows of the employees,
Note: Admissibility of marriage grant shall only be for the employees in BPS-01 to BPS-16.

CLARIFICATION REGARDING CHANGE OF PROFESSION IN PASSPORT

Government of Pakistan, Directorate General, Immigration & Passports (Headquarter) issued Clarification regarding Change of Profession in Passport. In continuation of this Directorate General circular of even number dated 11-03-2019. The following clarifications are given as under: Case#1:- Hujjaj who obtained passports in private capacity being a government servant and have deposited their passport with Ministry of Religious Affairs or proceeded abroad for performing Hajj / Hajj duty. COUNTER SIGNATURE ON PERs OF TEACHING STAFF AND THEIR UPLOADING ON SIS

  Directorate of Public Instruction(EE), Punjab Lahore issued directions regarding counter signatures on Performance Evaluation Reports (PERs) of teaching staff and their uploading on School Information System (SIS).           Through a number of complaints received from different corners it has learnt that in the field offices, teachers are facing problems in getting countersignature on their performance evaluation reports(PERs) to update in HRMIS.            The matter has seriously been viewed.
