REGULARIZATION OF SENIOR CLERKS FROM DATE OF JOINING APPOINTED IN S&GAD

Government of the Punjab, Services and General Administration Department (Section P-III) issued a notification regarding regularization of Senior Clerks appointed in S&GAD as Junior Clerks. In compliance with the order of Punjab Service Tribunal, Lahore dated 06.03.2019 in appeal Nos.4364/2018 to 4371/2018 and order of the Honorable Supreme Court of Pakistan dated 29.07.2019 in CPLA Nos. 1657-L to 1664-L of 2019, the services of following Senior Clerks appointed in S&GAD as Junior Clerks, through Punjab Public Service Commission in 2006, whose services have been regularized on 14.10.2009, are hereby regularized with effect from the dates of their initial contract appointments mentioned against each: (see the copy of notification)

ENHANCEMENT IN MARRIAGE GRANT OF LESCO EMPLOYEES

Lahore Electric Supply Company issued an officer order regarding enhancement of marriage grant to LESCO employees as recommended by PEPCO. The decision of BoD taken in its 210th meeting held on 8.11.2019 conveyed vide Company Secretary Letter No. LESCO/CS E-M-210-BOD1458 dated 12.11.2019 is hereby notified as under:- "Board has accorded approval for enhancement of marriage grant as recommended by PEPCO vide letter No.GM(HR)/HRD/A-548/1579-1604 dated 28.8.2018 and further revised vide letter No.5081-94/ MDP/GM(HR) 7 ADG (E) CBA/20 dated 22.05.2019" Rs. 100.000 (Rupees One Lac only on each event once for all serving employees (Self/two children).  Rs.200,000/-(Rupees Two Lac only) each for two children of retired /invalided employees and widows of the employees, Note: Admissibility of marriage grant shall only be for the employees in BPS-01 to BPS-16.

GRANT OF ONE PRE-MATURE INCREMENT ON TIME SCALE UP-GRADATION TO WAPDA EMPLOYEES

Pakistan Water and Power Development Authority issued an officer order regarding grant of one pre-mature increment on time scale up-gradation to WAPDA Employees. The Authority has been pleased to accord approval to the grant of one pre-mature increment on Time Scale Up-gradation to Wapda employees (serving/retired) with effect from the dates they were allowed TSU. The payment of arrears will, however, be paid by way of following methods: The retired employees may be paid the arrears in installments as per paying capacity of the concerned office.  The serving employees may be paid arrears in six (06) installments in three (03) years.

REQUIRED LENGTH OF SERVICE FOR PROMOTION FROM CHIEF ENGINEER TO GENERAL MANAGER

Water & Power Development Authority, Pakistan issued an office order regarding requirement of service for promotion from CE to GM. In order to ensure timely promotion of Chief Engineers to the rank of General Managers, the required length of service for promotion from Chief Engineer to General Manager is hereby reduced from 02 years to 01 year for Water and Power Wings. OFFICE ATTENDANCE OF SCHOOL EDUCATION DEPARTMENT

Government of the Punjab, School Education Department issued a letter regarding attendance of all officers alongwith essential staff. Competent Authority has directed that all officers of School Education Department will attend office regularly w.e.f. 01.06.2020 alongwith their essential staff. It is, therefore requested to bring the contents of this letter to the notice of all staff under your control for their information and strict compliance.

ORDER REGARDING 25% CONCESSION IN FEE IN PRIVATE SCHOOLS HAFIZABAD

Chief Executive Officer, District Education Authority, Hafizabad issued order regarding 25% concession in fee currently charged by private schools by the orders of Deputy Commissioner, Hafizabad.
