AMENDMENT IN APPOINTMENT OF ONE CHILD OR WIDOW OR WIFE OF ANY EMPLOYEES DIES DURING SERVICE OR DECLARED INVALIDATED OR INCAPACITATED

Government of the Punjab, Service & General Administration Department (Regulations Wing) issued a Notification regarding Amendment in Punjab Civil Servants (Appointment and Conditions of Service) Rules, 1974.

  • No.SOR-III(S&GAD)2-02/2012. In exercise of the powers conferred under section 23 of the Punjab Civil Servants Act, 1974 (VIII of 1974), Governor of the Punjab is pleased to direct that ... the Punjab Civil Servants (Appointment and Conditions of Service) Rules, 1974 the following further amendment shall be made:
  • AMENDMENT
  • In the Punjab Civil Servants (Appointment and Conditions of Service) Rules, 1974, in rule 17-A, for the second proviso, the following shall be substituted:
  • "Provided further that only one child or widow or wife of an employee who dies during service or is declared invalidated or incapacitated for further service, if otherwise eligible for the post, shall be appointed to a post in BS-1 to BS-11 in the department where the Government servant was serving at the time of the death or the declaration, without observance of the procedural requirements prescribed for such appointment."

CIVIL SERVANTS EFFICIENCY AND DISCIPLINE RULES 2020

  Government of Pakistan, Cabinet Secretariat (Establishment Division) made Civil Servants Efficiency and Discipline Rules, 2020.  Prime Minister approved to make the following rules:-  1.
