CLARIFICATION REGARDING GRANT OF CADRE / DEPARTMENT / POST SPECIFIC ALLOWANCE / SPECIAL ALLOWANCE EQUAL TO BASIC PAY FROZEN ON BASIC PAY SCALE 2008

Accountant General Punjab, Lahore issued a letter addressed to District Accounts Officers, Rahim Yar Khan and Sheikhupura regarding Grant of Cadre / Department / Post Specific Allowance or Special Allowance Equal to One Basic Pay Frozen on Basic Pay Scale 2008.

  • Mr. Dr. Saleem Razzaq (SSET B-17). Tahir Rasool and Mr Muhammad Liaqat Ali government special education sector Arifwala have lodged an application to this office dated Nil (copy attached) on the subject cited above through which they have demanded above referred Special allowance allowed by the Govt. of Punjab vide Finance deptt. letter No.FD.PR 2-1/2009 dated 13-03-2019, and the complainant have also submitted the Computer Pay Slips of your district where special allowance has been allowed by your office on the basis of referred Finance deptt. letter. In this regard the comments and viewpoint of your office for allowing this special allowance in your district is required. Whereas this allowance was given by the Govt. to the employees working in Civil Secretariat and they also draw their pay from the DDO of the Civil Secretariat.

GRANT OF ADDITIONAL CHARGE ALLOWANCE

Government of the Punjab, Finance Department issued clarification regarding grant of additional charge allowance. I am directed to refer to this Department's circular letter No.FD.SRII.2-38/70, dated 17.03.1988, on the subject cited above and state that following questions have arisen about the subject matter: Whether additional charge allowance for more than one posts can be granted to the same officer? Whether additional charge allowance against a post lower in status than the incumbent post-of the officer, holding the charge, can be allowed?  The case has been examined in the Finance Department. TIME SCALE UP-GRADATION TO NEXT HIGHER SCALE OF OFFICERS OF PITC

  Managing Director, Pakistan Electric Power Company (PVT.) Limited (PEPCO) issued an office order regarding time scale upgradation of officers of PITC from BPS-19 to BPS-20.
