INCREASE IN PROFIT RATES OF NATIONAL SAVINGS SCHEMES

Government of Pakistan, Central Directorate of National Savings, Islamabad issued a press release regarding increase in profit rates of National Savings Schemes.


National Savings is pleased to announce that the profit rates of National Savings Schemes (NSS) have been revised upward w.e.f 01.07.2019 till further Notification. Below are the detail of revised NSS rates:-

  • Behbood Savings Certificates Previous 14.28% - New 14.76% - Net Increase 0.48%
  • Pensioner Benefit Accounts Previous 14.28% - New 14.76% - Net Increase 0.48%
  • Shuhada Family Welfare Account Previous 14.28% - New 14.76% - Net Increase 0.48%
  • Defence Savings Certificates Previous 12.47% - New 13.01% - Net Increase 0.54%
  • Regular Income Certificates Previous 12.00% - New 12.96% - Net Increase 0.96%
  • Special Savings Certificates (Registered) / Accounts Previous 11.57% (average) - New 12.90% (average) - Net Increase 1.33%
  • 3-Months Savings Certificates Previous 9.80% - New 12.08% - Net Increase 2.28%
  • 6-Months Savings Certificates Previous 9.88% - New 12.18% - Net Increase 2.30%
  • 12-Months Savings Certificates Previous 9.98% - New 12.28% - Net Increase 2.30%
  • Saving Account Previous 8.50% - New 10.25% - Net Increase 1.75%

CLARIFICATION REGARDING CHANGE OF PROFESSION IN PASSPORT

Government of Pakistan, Directorate General, Immigration & Passports (Headquarter) issued Clarification regarding Change of Profession in Passport. In continuation of this Directorate General circular of even number dated 11-03-2019. The following clarifications are given as under: Case#1:- Hujjaj who obtained passports in private capacity being a government servant and have deposited their passport with Ministry of Religious Affairs or proceeded abroad for performing Hajj / Hajj duty. COUNTER SIGNATURE ON PERs OF TEACHING STAFF AND THEIR UPLOADING ON SIS

  Directorate of Public Instruction(EE), Punjab Lahore issued directions regarding counter signatures on Performance Evaluation Reports (PERs) of teaching staff and their uploading on School Information System (SIS).           Through a number of complaints received from different corners it has learnt that in the field offices, teachers are facing problems in getting countersignature on their performance evaluation reports(PERs) to update in HRMIS.            The matter has seriously been viewed.
