NOTIFICATION OF SEPARATE DISTRICT OF GILGIT BALTISTAN

Government of Gilgit Baltistan (GB), Department of Home & Prisons, GB Civil Secretariat Gilgit issued a notification regarding four sub-divisions as separate districts of Gilgit Baltistan.


On the approval of the competent authority, the Government of Gilgit Baltistan in exercise of the powers conferred upon it under section 5 of the Land Revenue Act, 1967 is pleased to notify the following four Sub-Divisions as separate Districts of Gilgit Baltistan having the same territorial jurisdiction / boundaries as earlier:-

  • District Gupis - Yasin in Gilgit Division
  • District Rondu in Baltistan Division
  • District Darel in Diamer - Astore Division
  • District Tangir in Diamer - Astore Division

It is clarified that the Revenue Division: Police Ranges - Subdivisions - Tehsils and Sub Tehsils / Niabats shall remain the same as previously.

CLARIFICATION REGARDING CHANGE OF PROFESSION IN PASSPORT

Government of Pakistan, Directorate General, Immigration & Passports (Headquarter) issued Clarification regarding Change of Profession in Passport. In continuation of this Directorate General circular of even number dated 11-03-2019. The following clarifications are given as under: Case#1:- Hujjaj who obtained passports in private capacity being a government servant and have deposited their passport with Ministry of Religious Affairs or proceeded abroad for performing Hajj / Hajj duty. COUNTER SIGNATURE ON PERs OF TEACHING STAFF AND THEIR UPLOADING ON SIS

  Directorate of Public Instruction(EE), Punjab Lahore issued directions regarding counter signatures on Performance Evaluation Reports (PERs) of teaching staff and their uploading on School Information System (SIS).           Through a number of complaints received from different corners it has learnt that in the field offices, teachers are facing problems in getting countersignature on their performance evaluation reports(PERs) to update in HRMIS.            The matter has seriously been viewed.
