CLARIFICATION REGARDING ADMISSIBILITY OF SPECIAL / COMPUTER ALLOWANCE TO COMPUTER OPERATOR / DATA ENTRY OPERATOR

Government of the Punjab, Finance Department issued a clarification letter regarding admissibility of Special / Computer Allowance to Computer Operator / Data Entry Operator.
  • The case has been examined. Lahore High Court, Lahore is advised that Computer Personnel are those employees who are employed on whole time basis on computer work in the Government Departments and other Government Institutions irrespective of the fact whether main frame computer is available or not in their organization. But the said Personnel should possess the minimum educational qualification of their Basic Pay Scale wise as described in the policy letter No FD.SR-I/9-7/85, dated 22.09.1986. Further necessary action may be taken in light of policy letter ibid.

CLARIFICATION REGARDING CHANGE OF PROFESSION IN PASSPORT

Government of Pakistan, Directorate General, Immigration & Passports (Headquarter) issued Clarification regarding Change of Profession in Passport. In continuation of this Directorate General circular of even number dated 11-03-2019. The following clarifications are given as under: Case#1:- Hujjaj who obtained passports in private capacity being a government servant and have deposited their passport with Ministry of Religious Affairs or proceeded abroad for performing Hajj / Hajj duty.   Directorate of Public Instruction(EE), Punjab Lahore issued directions regarding counter signatures on Performance Evaluation Reports (PERs) of teaching staff and their uploading on School Information System (SIS).           Through a number of complaints received from different corners it has learnt that in the field offices, teachers are facing problems in getting countersignature on their performance evaluation reports(PERs) to update in HRMIS.            The matter has seriously been viewed.
