NOTIFICATION REGARDING EXTENSION IN THE DATE OF FILING OF INCOME TAX RETURNS 2018

Government of Pakistan Revenue Division, Federal Board of Revenue, Islamabad, Second Secretary, STM IR (Operations) issued a notification regarding in the date of filing of income tax returns / statements for tax year 2018.


Detail of Notification:-

In exercise of the powers conferred under Section 214A of the Income Tax Ordinance, 2001, the Federal Board of Revenue is pleased to extend the date of filing of Income Tax Returns/Statements for the Tax Year 2018 as under:

1) The date for filing of Returns of Total Income Statement of final taxation which were due on 31" August, 2018 and extended upto 30 September, 2018 is hereby further extended to 30 November, 2018.

2) The date for filing of Income Tax Returns and Statements of final taxation which were due on 30 September, 2018 for Companies. Individuals and Association of Persons is hereby extended to 30 November, 2018.

CLARIFICATION REGARDING CHANGE OF PROFESSION IN PASSPORT

Government of Pakistan, Directorate General, Immigration & Passports (Headquarter) issued Clarification regarding Change of Profession in Passport. In continuation of this Directorate General circular of even number dated 11-03-2019. The following clarifications are given as under: Case#1:- Hujjaj who obtained passports in private capacity being a government servant and have deposited their passport with Ministry of Religious Affairs or proceeded abroad for performing Hajj / Hajj duty. COUNTER SIGNATURE ON PERs OF TEACHING STAFF AND THEIR UPLOADING ON SIS

  Directorate of Public Instruction(EE), Punjab Lahore issued directions regarding counter signatures on Performance Evaluation Reports (PERs) of teaching staff and their uploading on School Information System (SIS).           Through a number of complaints received from different corners it has learnt that in the field offices, teachers are facing problems in getting countersignature on their performance evaluation reports(PERs) to update in HRMIS.            The matter has seriously been viewed.
