CLARIFICATION REGARDING ENCASHMENT OF UNAVAILED PERIOD OF LPR IN CASE OF DEATH OF THE GOVERNMENT SERVANT

Government of Pakistan, Finance Department (Regulations Wing), Section Officer (R-4) issued a clarification notification regarding Encashment of Unavailed Period of LPR in Case of Death of the Government Servant.


Detail of Notification:-

The undersigned is directed to refer to the subject cited above and to state that Finance Division has recently received a case where a Government Servant died during his LPR period, it is clarified that in such a case his / her heirs are entitled to receive encashment of LPR for the remaining period subject to completion of other codal formalities.

CLARIFICATION REGARDING CHANGE OF PROFESSION IN PASSPORT

Government of Pakistan, Directorate General, Immigration & Passports (Headquarter) issued Clarification regarding Change of Profession in Passport. In continuation of this Directorate General circular of even number dated 11-03-2019. The following clarifications are given as under: Case#1:- Hujjaj who obtained passports in private capacity being a government servant and have deposited their passport with Ministry of Religious Affairs or proceeded abroad for performing Hajj / Hajj duty.   Directorate of Public Instruction(EE), Punjab Lahore issued directions regarding counter signatures on Performance Evaluation Reports (PERs) of teaching staff and their uploading on School Information System (SIS).           Through a number of complaints received from different corners it has learnt that in the field offices, teachers are facing problems in getting countersignature on their performance evaluation reports(PERs) to update in HRMIS.            The matter has seriously been viewed.
