ISSUANCE OF NEW CURRENCY NOTES TO GENERAL PUBLIC BEFORE EID-UL-FITR 2018

The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) has issued a policy for issuance of New Currency Notes to General Public with the help of Pakistan Banks Association via SMS short code at 8877 from 01-06-2018 to 14-06-2018.
  • The State Bank of Pakistan has also issued Branch IDs with Banks Names to get the New Currency Notes via SMS at 8877 from 01-06-2018 to 14-06-2018.
  • Method to Get the New Currency:
  • Type CNIC Number <space>Bank Branch ID Number and SMS to 8877
  • (For example:- 34300-1234567-9 HFZ000)
  • In reply you will get Transaction Code & Bank Branch Address and Time Limit.
  • Then you will have to go to that Bank Branch alongwith original & photocopy of your CNIC and pay the amount to get the New Currency Notes in exchange.
  • How Many Maximum New Currency Notes Can Be Got By a Person:
  • 3 Packets of 10 Rupees worth Rs.3000/-
  • 1 Packet of 50 Rupees worth Rs.5000/-
  • 1 Packet of 100 Rupees worth Rs.10000/-
Note:- 
  • For this services, Branch Codes are different of every bank.
  • SMS will charged Rs.15/- + Tax.
  • Only once New Currency Notes will be issued on one CNIC Number
  • Only once one mobile number can be used to send one CNIC Number via SMS 
  • New Currency Notes will only be issued on the given dates in reply to the SMS

GRANT OF ADDITIONAL CHARGE ALLOWANCE

Government of the Punjab, Finance Department issued clarification regarding grant of additional charge allowance. I am directed to refer to this Department's circular letter No.FD.SRII.2-38/70, dated 17.03.1988, on the subject cited above and state that following questions have arisen about the subject matter: Whether additional charge allowance for more than one posts can be granted to the same officer? Whether additional charge allowance against a post lower in status than the incumbent post-of the officer, holding the charge, can be allowed?  The case has been examined in the Finance Department.   Managing Director, Pakistan Electric Power Company (PVT.) Limited (PEPCO) issued an office order regarding time scale upgradation of officers of PITC from BPS-19 to BPS-20.
