FOCAL PERSONS FOR SIS AND E-TRANSFER AND HRMS

Government of the Punjab, School Education Department issued an order regarding nominations of focal persons for School Information System (SIS) and E-Transfer System and Human Resource Management System (HRMS). Rana Abdul Qayyum Khan, Director (Admn), o/o DPI (SE), Punjab, Lahore and Mr. Imtiaz Shahid, Deputy Director (Monitoring), CMMF, School Education Department are hereby nominated as Focal Persons regarding School Information System (SIS), e-Transfer System and Human Resource Management System (HRMS) of School Education Department for smooth functioning and completion of said tasks. ESTABLISHMENT OF SERVICE DELIVERY UNIT AND JOB DESCRIPTION OF MONITORING CELL

Government of the Punjab, School Education Department issued a notification regarding establishment of Service Delivery Unit (SDU) and job description of Monitoring Cell and SDU. In order to improve efficiency and service delivery of the department, a Service Delivery Unit (SDU) has been established. SECURITY ALERT DURING COVID-19

Pakistan Security Printing Corporation issued an awareness security alert in these days of COVID-19. It has been learnt through reliable sources that some criminal gangs are active in the city and distributing free masks as a new technique to trap the public. They will ask you to put it on to see if it fits you. The chemical on the mask will make you faint and they may proceed to rob you. All employees are advised in their own interest not to accept masks from the strangers. Please be cautious and be safe.

PROMOTION OF STUDENTS TO NEXT HIGHER CLASS

Government of the Punjab, School Education Department issued a notification regarding promotion of students to next higher class. In pursuance to approval of the Inter-Provincial Education Ministers Committee meeting, the students up to class-8 of public and private schools are hereby promoted to next higher class without annual examination in the wake of corona virus pandemic (Covid-19).

MONITORING OF ANTI DENGUE ACTIVITIES IN SCHOOLS

Government of the Punjab, School Education Department (Monitoring Wing) issued a letter to District Monitoring Officers regarding monitoring of anti-dengue activities in schools. It is stated that the Competent Authority is reviewing progress regarding anti-dengue activities on daily basis and the same is presented in the Cabinet Committee meetings. Reportedly, the public schools are opened on Mondays and Tuesdays and the Competent Authority has directed to visit public schools on Monday and Tuesday in connection with the anti-dengue activities. You are therefore, requested to ensure visit of public schools through field staff and dengue activity based snaps, may be uploaded on the Dengue dashboard accordingly.

INSTRUCTIONS REGARDING OPENING OF OFFICES WITH SKELETON STAFF IN PUNJAB

Government of the Punjab, Services & General Administration Department (Implementation & Coordination Wing) issued a letter regarding opening of offices with skeleton staff. In view of the alarming increase in the number of COVID-19 cases, the Competent Authority has desired as under: For offices opened with skeleton staff (Reference Notifications of even number dated 23.03.2020, 26.03.2020 and 31.03.2020). The Administrative Secretaries (ACS where applicable) are desired to re-determine their essentially required / skeleton staff to attend office. Unnecessary staff may not be called to attend office. For offices opened to the extent of Administrative Secretaries (Reference Notification of even number dated 14th April, 2020) The Administrative Secretaries (ACS where applicable) only themselves along with their personal staff will attend office. REGULARIZATION OF SENIOR CLERKS FROM DATE OF JOINING APPOINTED IN S&GAD

Government of the Punjab, Services and General Administration Department (Section P-III) issued a notification regarding regularization of Senior Clerks appointed in S&GAD as Junior Clerks. In compliance with the order of Punjab Service Tribunal, Lahore dated 06.03.2019 in appeal Nos.4364/2018 to 4371/2018 and order of the Honorable Supreme Court of Pakistan dated 29.07.2019 in CPLA Nos. 1657-L to 1664-L of 2019, the services of following Senior Clerks appointed in S&GAD as Junior Clerks, through Punjab Public Service Commission in 2006, whose services have been regularized on 14.10.2009, are hereby regularized with effect from the dates of their initial contract appointments mentioned against each: (see the copy of notification)
