REMUNERATION FOR NSER SURVEY TRAININGS AND SURVEY IMPLEMENTATION

 National Socio-Economic Registry (NSER) is currently being updated in various parts of the country. For this purpose, the Federal Government has partnered with Provincial Education departments to undertake NSER update in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (including erstwhile FATA), Azad Jammu & Kashmir, Gilgit and some districts of the Punjab province.

         Teachers of the School Education Department (SED) in District Lahore are being engaged to perform door-to-door survey aiming to update National Socio-Economic Registry. For this purpose, NSER will organize training sessions for teachers, and upon qualification, teachers will conduct the door-to-door survey in their assigned enumeration areas. 

        NSER survey has two main activities, which include Training of Teachers and Survey Implementation. Both types of engagements have adequate remuneration for the teachers/education officials engaged in the process. The details are mentioned below: 

Survey Implementation

1. IT Teacher / Officer (IT Support Officer) Rs.36,000/-
2. Senior Teacher (Supervisor) Rs.36,000/- (to supervise assigned blocks)
3. Teacher (Enumerator) Rs.26,000/- (for enumeration of at least 300HHs on average)

Trainings 

4. IT Officers, Supervisors and Enumerators Rs.12,000/- each for complete training Enumerators 


"Teachers performing enumeration in excess of 300, e.g., approx. 550-600 HHs will be eligible for double remuneration."

        The training activities are planned to capacitate teachers on understanding socio-economic assessment questionnaire, use of various features of tablet devices and technical processes involved in data collection phase.
