SUSPENSION OF OUT PATIENT DEPARTMENTS (OPDs) SERVICES IN TEACHING / SPECIALIZED HOSPITALS

 Government of the Punjab, Specialized Healthcare & Medical Education Department suspended OPDs services in teaching / specialized hospitals in selected districts.


Due to no respite has been noted in the number of COVID-19 cases, the Competent Authority has directed that OPD services of four specialties i.e. ENT, Ophthalmology, Dermatology and Dentistry shall remain suspended in public sector teaching specialized hospitals situated in Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Lahore, Faisalabad, Sargodha, Multan, Bahawalpur, DG Khan and RY Khan with immediate effect for two weeks i.e. till 10th May, 2021. 

The situation shall be reviewed on 11th May, 2021.

CLARIFICATION REGARDING CHANGE OF PROFESSION IN PASSPORT

Government of Pakistan, Directorate General, Immigration & Passports (Headquarter) issued Clarification regarding Change of Profession in Passport. In continuation of this Directorate General circular of even number dated 11-03-2019. The following clarifications are given as under: Case#1:- Hujjaj who obtained passports in private capacity being a government servant and have deposited their passport with Ministry of Religious Affairs or proceeded abroad for performing Hajj / Hajj duty. COUNTER SIGNATURE ON PERs OF TEACHING STAFF AND THEIR UPLOADING ON SIS

  Directorate of Public Instruction(EE), Punjab Lahore issued directions regarding counter signatures on Performance Evaluation Reports (PERs) of teaching staff and their uploading on School Information System (SIS).           Through a number of complaints received from different corners it has learnt that in the field offices, teachers are facing problems in getting countersignature on their performance evaluation reports(PERs) to update in HRMIS.            The matter has seriously been viewed.
