CLARIFICATION REGARDING DISBURSEMENT OF MEDICAL ALLOWANCE TO THE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL TEACHERS

 Deputy Accountant General, o/o Accountant General Punjab, Lahore issued a clarification to District Accounts Officer, Khanewal regarding disbursement of medical allowance to the EST teachers upgraded from BS-15 to BS-16 as on 01.01.2018.


"If any employee is promoted / up-graded after 30.06.2015, he would be entitled to Medical Allowance @ 15% of his Basic Pay as on 30.06.2010 subject to 15% of the minimum of pay scales of Basic Pay Scales, 2008 against which such employees have been promoted / up-graded. He will be further entitled to 25% increase in the amount of Medical Allowance w.e.f. 01.07.2015 in pursuance of Pay Revision Rules 2015 and shall stand frozen at the same level. However, the Medical Allowance in no case should be less than Rs.1,500/- per month".

CLARIFICATION REGARDING CHANGE OF PROFESSION IN PASSPORT

Government of Pakistan, Directorate General, Immigration & Passports (Headquarter) issued Clarification regarding Change of Profession in Passport. In continuation of this Directorate General circular of even number dated 11-03-2019. The following clarifications are given as under: Case#1:- Hujjaj who obtained passports in private capacity being a government servant and have deposited their passport with Ministry of Religious Affairs or proceeded abroad for performing Hajj / Hajj duty. COUNTER SIGNATURE ON PERs OF TEACHING STAFF AND THEIR UPLOADING ON SIS

  Directorate of Public Instruction(EE), Punjab Lahore issued directions regarding counter signatures on Performance Evaluation Reports (PERs) of teaching staff and their uploading on School Information System (SIS).           Through a number of complaints received from different corners it has learnt that in the field offices, teachers are facing problems in getting countersignature on their performance evaluation reports(PERs) to update in HRMIS.            The matter has seriously been viewed.
