NOTIFICATION REGARDING SCHOOL CLOSERS FROM 15.03.2021 TO 28.03.2021 IN 07 DISTRICTS

 Government of the Punjab, School Education Department issued a notification regarding closing of school w.e.f 15.03.2021 to 28.03.2021 in 07 Districts due to increased Covid-19 cases.


In pursuance of the decisions taken in the meeting of National Command and Operation Center (NCOC), all Public and Private schools in districts i.e. Lahore, Faisalabad, Gujranwala, Gujrat, Rawalpindi, Multan and Sialkot shall remain closed w.e.f 15.03.2021 to 28.03.2021 due to considerable rise in Covid-19 positive cases while rest of the districts will follow existing regular schedule.

CLARIFICATION REGARDING CHANGE OF PROFESSION IN PASSPORT

Government of Pakistan, Directorate General, Immigration & Passports (Headquarter) issued Clarification regarding Change of Profession in Passport. In continuation of this Directorate General circular of even number dated 11-03-2019. The following clarifications are given as under: Case#1:- Hujjaj who obtained passports in private capacity being a government servant and have deposited their passport with Ministry of Religious Affairs or proceeded abroad for performing Hajj / Hajj duty. COUNTER SIGNATURE ON PERs OF TEACHING STAFF AND THEIR UPLOADING ON SIS

  Directorate of Public Instruction(EE), Punjab Lahore issued directions regarding counter signatures on Performance Evaluation Reports (PERs) of teaching staff and their uploading on School Information System (SIS).           Through a number of complaints received from different corners it has learnt that in the field offices, teachers are facing problems in getting countersignature on their performance evaluation reports(PERs) to update in HRMIS.            The matter has seriously been viewed.
