NOTIFICATION OF MINISTERIAL COMMITTEE TO REVIEW DISPARITY REDUCTION

 A Ministerial Committee has been constituted for a holistic review for reduction of disparities in pay of employees of Punjab Government and submit recommendations to the Provincial Cabinet to address the issue in a fiscally sustainable manner: 

  • Minister for Finance Convener 
  • Minister for Law & PA Co-convener 
  • Minister for ICI & SD Member
  • Minister for Agriculture Member 
  • Additional Chief Secretary, S&GAD Member
  • Secretary Finance Secretary / Member 
  • Any member to be co-opted by the Committee Member 

The Terms of Reference (TORS) of the Ministerial Committee are as under: 
  • Comprehensive mapping of the government servants in BS 1-22, who are drawing any special allowance(s) other than regular allowances. 
  • Examining any distortion / disparity in pay and allowances of the government servants working in various organizations / entities of the Punjab Government, with reference to recently approved Disparity Reduction Allowance (ORA) by the Federal Government. 
  • Determine the financial impact of Disparity Reduction Allowance (DRA) for the forthcoming budget. 

The Committee may involve stakeholders in consultative process before reaching to any recommendations.

POLICY FRAMEWORK FOR WORK CHARGED EMPLOYEES, DAILY WAGERS AND CONTINGENT PAID STAFF

CIVIL SERVANTS EFFICIENCY AND DISCIPLINE RULES 2020

  Government of Pakistan, Cabinet Secretariat (Establishment Division) made Civil Servants Efficiency and Discipline Rules, 2020.  Prime Minister approved to make the following rules:-  1.
