RECRUITMENT OF PROFESSORS THOUGH PPSC

 Government of the Punjab, Higher Education Department issued a letter regarding recruitment of Assistant Professors, Associate Professor and Professors through Punjab Public Service Commission.


The Competent Authority has directed to provide following information: 

a) Subject-wise vacant posts of Assistant Professors (BS-18). Associate Professors (BS-19) and Professors (BS-20) against the "Direct Quota" of Recruitment. 

b) Number of officers who were appointed against the quota of 5% Minority and 3% Disabled Persons in "Direct Quota". 

c) Above mentioned information may kindly be submitted in the light of re-fixation of posts by Finance Department's letter dated 21.02.2020.

CLARIFICATION REGARDING CHANGE OF PROFESSION IN PASSPORT

Government of Pakistan, Directorate General, Immigration & Passports (Headquarter) issued Clarification regarding Change of Profession in Passport. In continuation of this Directorate General circular of even number dated 11-03-2019. The following clarifications are given as under: Case#1:- Hujjaj who obtained passports in private capacity being a government servant and have deposited their passport with Ministry of Religious Affairs or proceeded abroad for performing Hajj / Hajj duty. COUNTER SIGNATURE ON PERs OF TEACHING STAFF AND THEIR UPLOADING ON SIS

  Directorate of Public Instruction(EE), Punjab Lahore issued directions regarding counter signatures on Performance Evaluation Reports (PERs) of teaching staff and their uploading on School Information System (SIS).           Through a number of complaints received from different corners it has learnt that in the field offices, teachers are facing problems in getting countersignature on their performance evaluation reports(PERs) to update in HRMIS.            The matter has seriously been viewed.
