INSTRUCTIONS REGARDING TAKING CLASSES IN PRIVATE UNIVERSITIES / COLLEGES / INSTITUTIONS BY TEACHERS

The Competent Authority has taken serious reservations regarding taking classes in Private Universities / Colleges / Institutions by the teaching staff without prior permission / NOC from the Competent Authority.
In this regard, the Govt. of the Punjab as well as Higher Education Department stipulated following rules which to be observed strictly in letter & spirit:-
  • Rule No.16(1) of Punjab Civil Servants (conduct) Rules, 1966. "No Government Servants shall except with the previous sanction of Government engaged in any trade or undertake any employment of work other than his official duties" 
  • Notification No. SO(A-1)SA-73/99 dated 10.08.1999 issued by the Higher Education Department. "There shall be completed ban on teaching a Govt. employee in private institutions during the officials working hours.

CLARIFICATION REGARDING CHANGE OF PROFESSION IN PASSPORT

Government of Pakistan, Directorate General, Immigration & Passports (Headquarter) issued Clarification regarding Change of Profession in Passport. In continuation of this Directorate General circular of even number dated 11-03-2019. The following clarifications are given as under: Case#1:- Hujjaj who obtained passports in private capacity being a government servant and have deposited their passport with Ministry of Religious Affairs or proceeded abroad for performing Hajj / Hajj duty. COUNTER SIGNATURE ON PERs OF TEACHING STAFF AND THEIR UPLOADING ON SIS

  Directorate of Public Instruction(EE), Punjab Lahore issued directions regarding counter signatures on Performance Evaluation Reports (PERs) of teaching staff and their uploading on School Information System (SIS).           Through a number of complaints received from different corners it has learnt that in the field offices, teachers are facing problems in getting countersignature on their performance evaluation reports(PERs) to update in HRMIS.            The matter has seriously been viewed.
