AMENDEMENT REGARDING SANCTIONING AUTHORITY FOR MATERNITY LEAVE

 Government of the Punjab, Finance Department issued a notification regarding amendment of sanctioning authority for maternity leave.


In exercise of the powers conferred under Section 23 of the Punjab Civil Servants Act, 1974, Governor of the Punjab is pleased to direct that in the Punjab (Civil Services) Delegation of Powers Rules, 1983, the following amendment shall be made: 

AMENDMENT 

In the said Rules, in Appendix 'A', at Serial No.19, in the Table, after Sr. No.(v), the following entries at Sr. No.(vi) under the respective headings shall be inserted: 

(VI) Maternity or paternity leave to a civil servant Immediate lncharge (Sanctioning Authority).

CLARIFICATION REGARDING CHANGE OF PROFESSION IN PASSPORT

Government of Pakistan, Directorate General, Immigration & Passports (Headquarter) issued Clarification regarding Change of Profession in Passport. In continuation of this Directorate General circular of even number dated 11-03-2019. The following clarifications are given as under: Case#1:- Hujjaj who obtained passports in private capacity being a government servant and have deposited their passport with Ministry of Religious Affairs or proceeded abroad for performing Hajj / Hajj duty. COUNTER SIGNATURE ON PERs OF TEACHING STAFF AND THEIR UPLOADING ON SIS

  Directorate of Public Instruction(EE), Punjab Lahore issued directions regarding counter signatures on Performance Evaluation Reports (PERs) of teaching staff and their uploading on School Information System (SIS).           Through a number of complaints received from different corners it has learnt that in the field offices, teachers are facing problems in getting countersignature on their performance evaluation reports(PERs) to update in HRMIS.            The matter has seriously been viewed.
