SUSPENSION OF TEACHING / LEARNING ACTIVITIES IN ALL EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS IN PUNJAB

 Government of the Punjab, School Education Department issued an order regarding suspension of teaching & learning activities in all educational institutions. SO(A-1)1-31/2008: In pursuance of the decision of National Command & Operations Center (NCOC), on campus teaching/learning activities in all Public and Private Schools including Tuitions Centers/Academies, taken over Madaris and all Autonomous Educational Institutions under the Administrative control of Government of the Punjab, School Education Department shall remain suspended from 26.11.2020 to 24.12.2020 in the wake of pandemic (COVID-19).  Note: The School Education Department will separately issue instructions for teaching/learning from home/online etc.

ORDER FOR ALL PUBLIC AND PRIVATE OFFICES TO WORK FROM HOME FOR 50% OF THE STAFF

Government of the Punjab, Primary and Secondary Healthcare Department issued an order regarding work from home for 50% of the staff.  NO.SO(G)/P&SHD/4-1/2020. In exercise of powers under Sections 4(c), 5(1)(e). 5(1)(f) of "The Punjab Infectious Diseases (Prevention and Control) Act 2020". I, Captain (R) Muhammad Usman, Secretary, Primary and Secondary Healthcare Department, Government of the Punjab, with the approval of Chief Minister, Punjab, am pleased to order the following: -  "All public/private offices shall follow the policy of "work from home for 50% of the staff".  This order shall come into force immediately throughout the province and shall remain in force till 31 January 2021 unless otherwise amended.  This order shall be given wide publicity in official Gazette, Daily Newspapers and broadcasting through Radio Pakistan, Pakistan Television and other TV Channels as news item for information of the general public.

ENTRIES OF B-FORM NUMBER OF CHILDREN IN CENSUS DATA

Directorate of Public Instructions (SE), Punjab issued a letter addressed to all CEOs DEAs, Punjab regarding entries of B-Form number of children in census data in SIS application. As you know that census of schools have been conducted in October, 2020. In this exercise of census it was mandatory to add B-Form number of the children. It has been noticed by the authority that you and your lower staff (Heads, AEOs, Dy. DEOS & DEOs) have not paid full attention for the above said task. You are hereby directed to ensure updation of B-Form number in census data by 30.11.2020. Kindly convey these directions of the Authority to all concern to complete this data within given date.  In case of any negligence CEO and DEO concerned of the district will be responsible.

NOTIFICATION REGARDING IMPLEMENTATION OF PROTECTIVE MEASRUES FROM COVID-19

  Government of Pakistan, National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) issued instructions to implement protective measures from COVID-19.  Due to consistent increase in positivity percentage and disease spread, NCOC has decided implementation of Stage - 2 NPls in addition to Stage-1 NPls (to remain in force till 31 January 2021) in major cities with high positivity and higher disease spread potential (Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Multan, Hyderabad, Gilgit. Muzzafarabad, Mirpur, Peshawar, Quetta, Gujranwala, Gujrat, Faisalabad, Bahawalpur, Abbottabad) as under: a. Implementation of GB model for enforcement of mask wearing (Rs 100 fine and 3 masks issued on spot).  b. LOCAL HOLIDAY IN DISTRICT HAFIZABAD

Deputy Commissioner, Hafizabad issued an order regarding local holiday in district Hafizabad on 7th November, 2020.            The Honourable Prime Minister of Pakistan is scheduled to visit Hafizabad District on 7th November, 2020. DECISION REGARDING REGULARIZATION W.E.F EFFECT FROM THE DATE OF JOINING OF INITIAL APPOINTMENT BY SECRETARY SCHOOL EDUCATION

SO(SE-I)1-184/2013(P): WHEREAS, Deputy Secretary (Welfare) to Additional Chief Secretary forwarded the various application the officers of BS-17 & BS-18(Male & Female) whose services were regularized under the Punjab Regularization of Service Act, 2018 & Punjab Regularization of Service (Amendment) Act, 2019 dated 13.12.2019 and directed the department to take the necessary action under the rules/ policy.  2. AND WHEREAS, the appeals, received from the Additional Chief Secretary, are bifurcated into two categories. The First category comprises the appeals of the officers (Male & Female) whose services have been regularized under the Punjab Regularization of Service Act, 2018 & the Punjab Regularization of Service (Amendment) Act, 2019 dated 13.12.2019. NOTIFICATION REGARDING TAGGING / ADJUSTMENT OF OFFICERS WHO ARE AWAITING FOR POSTING

Govt. of the Punjab, School Education Department issued a notification regarding tagging / adjustment of the officers who are awaiting posting. The competent authority is pleased to accord the tagging / adjustment of the officers who are awaiting posting in School Education Department through 7th round of SIS. Therefore following instructions are to be observed strictly in prescribed manner and time line:  All the officers who are awaiting posting must apply on SIS according to schedule.  To avoid any inconvenience maximum options must be opted.  If the officers deliberately fail to operate the login/password on SIS, or do not provide necessary information required for tagging, the concerned will be held responsible for the consequences to be proceeded further under the rules.

RESTRICTIONS ON SOME ACTIVITIES IN TERRITORIAL LIMITS OF PUNJAB TO REDUCE SMOG

Government of the Punjab, Provincial Disaster Management Authority issued an order to ban some activities in Punjab to reduce / curb the Smog. There is recorded evidence of persistent deterioration in the Air Quality Index of the city of Lahore in particular and Punjab in general, from satisfactory level to moderately and poorly polluted levels, which is likely to cause breathing discomfort, respiratory tract diseases including asthma besides heart related ailments amongst children and older adults specifically and the people of all age brackets in general;  2. AND WHEREAS, there is a continuous trend of new Covid-19 patients throughout the province and further overlap of conducive conditions for respiratory tract diseases due to smog could exacerbate the casualty rate in the province of Punjab;  3.
