RECRTUITMENT OF NON-TEACHING STAFF FROM BPS-01 TO BPS-04 IN EDUCATION DEPARTMENT

 Government of the Punjab, School Education Department has approved 1527 posts of Class-IV employees in Punjab.

BAN ON TRANSFER AND POSTING OF TEACHERS

Government of the Punjab, School Education Department imposed ban on transfer & posting of all teachers. The competent authority has imposed ban on transfer / posting of all teachers except promotion, wedlock, extreme hardship and transfers on administrative posts till further orders.

NOTIFICATION REGARDING PUBLIC LOCAL HOLIDAY IN LAHORE DISTRICT

 Government of the Punjab, Services and General Administration Department (Section Welfare-I) issued a notification regarding local holiday in Lahore District. It is hereby notified for general public that a local holiday in Lahore district shall be observed on 8th October, 2020 (Thursday) on account of 977th Annual Urs Mubarak of Hazrat Data Gunj Baksh (RA). This Holiday will be observed on at the district level and its subordinate offices located in Lahore district. The Punjab Civil Secretariat, its attached departments and regional offices, however, shall remain open and functional as usual.

REQUEST FOR ISSUANCE OF CONVEYANCE ALLOWANCE TO TEACHERS OF RAJANPUR

The Chief Executive Officer, District Education Education Authority, Rajanpur requested to District Accounts Officer, Rajanpur for issuance of conveyance allowance to teachers. Mr. Saleem Akber Jiskani President Teacher Union, District Rajanpur has submitted an original written request for issuance of conveyance allowance in the monthly pay scroll of Honorable Teachers w.e.f 15.09.2020. As per clarification regarding attendance of school stall in all Public schools issued by the Section Officer (ACAD), Govt. of the Punjab, School Education Department. Lahore vide No. SO (A-1) 1-31/2008 (P-1), dated 14.09.2020, Teaching and other staff of Primary & Elementary schools will ensure their presence at assigned schools for preparation of lesson plan and SLOs.  The original written request filed by President, Punjab Teacher Union, Rajanpur is hereby forwarded to your part for further course of action in the matter.

ASSIGNMENT OF ADDITIONAL CHARGE TO PROJECT EMPLOYEES

Government of the Punjab, Services & General Administration Department (Regulations/ O&M Wing) issued clarification regarding assignment of additional charge to project employees. On a query from Finance Department, a question has arisen whether project employees may be given the additional charge of a post.  The case has been examined in the Regulations Wing. S&GAD and it is observed that project employees are appointed for time bound activity of the project and are paid out of the development funds. Their situation is not much different from work charged employees because their remuneration is charged to the development scheme, irrespective of the fact whether the posts have been sanctioned in BS Regime by the Finance Department. Hence their position needs to be treated as such and not equal to the contract employees serving against a substantive post. SCHEDULE AND TIME TABLE FOR RE-OPENING OF SCHOOLS IN PUNJAB

Government of the Punjab, School Education Department issued schedule alongwith academic time table for re-opening of schools. PERMISSION TO OPEN MARRIAGE HALLS / MARQUEES

Government of the Punjab, Primary and Secondary Healthcare Department issued an order regarding opening of marriage halls / marquees subject to adoption of SOPs / guidelines.
