NOTIFICATION REGARDING ASSIGNING OF ADDITIONAL CHARGE OF S&GADs CONTROLLED POSTS

Government of the Punjab, Services & General Administration Department (ADMN WING) issued a notification regarding assigning of additional charge of vacant posts of BS-17 controlled by S&GAD to Divisional Commissioners.

In pursuance of Rule 10(1)(9) of the Punjab Government Rules of Business, 2011 and under Section 3(4) read with Section 24(1) of Punjab Civil Administration Act, 2017, the Additional Chief Secretary Punjab has been pleased to delegate the following powers to the extent of S&GAD controlled posts / officers in BS-17 to the Divisional Commissioners of Punjab to be exercised within their respective divisions for greater efficiency and better administration:-


  • To assign additional charge of the S&GAD's controlled vacant posts of BS-17 to the suitable officers of equivalent grade, borne on the cadre strength of S&GAD posted in their respective divisions. 
  • To grant ex-Pakistan leave to officers for performance of Hajj not beyond 50 days and for performance of Umrah upto 15 days. 
  • To grant NOC for issuance / renewal of passport except gratis / official passport.
  • To grant maternity leave. 
  • To grant earned leave up to maximum period of 30 days.
The Divisional Commissioners shall exercise the above-mentioned delegated powers after observing all requisite codal formalities under intimation to S&GAD.

CLARIFICATION REGARDING CHANGE OF PROFESSION IN PASSPORT

Government of Pakistan, Directorate General, Immigration & Passports (Headquarter) issued Clarification regarding Change of Profession in Passport. In continuation of this Directorate General circular of even number dated 11-03-2019. COUNTER SIGNATURE ON PERs OF TEACHING STAFF AND THEIR UPLOADING ON SIS

  Directorate of Public Instruction(EE), Punjab Lahore issued directions regarding counter signatures on Performance Evaluation Reports (PERs) of teaching staff and their uploading on School Information System (SIS).           Through a number of complaints received from different corners it has learnt that in the field offices, teachers are facing problems in getting countersignature on their performance evaluation reports(PERs) to update in HRMIS.            The matter has seriously been viewed.
