JOB DESCRIPTION OF PRIMARY & SECONDARY HEALTHCARE MONITORING & EVALUATION ASSISTANTS (MEAs)

Policy & Strategic Planning Unit, Primary & Secondary Healthcare Department issued a letter regarding job description of P&S Healthcare MEAs.

Under the Chief Minister's Punjab Roadmap, Primary & Secondary Monitoring & Evaluation Assistants have been recruited and working as third party monitors.

It has been noticed that primary and secondary healthcare MEAs are asked to perform duty in Polio & Dengue campaigns. This office knows the importance of such campaigns but as per the letter No. PSPU/129/14/2026 dated 13th March, 2015 health MEAs may not be used for duties other than Monitoring & Evaluation of health facilities. The MEAs have to make repeated visits of the health facilities assigned to them. The data collected through the MEAs is presented to the Health Minister and Secretary P&SH Department in the monthly stocktake meeting of Chief Executive Officers of all 36 districts of Punjab.

Therefore, it is requested that MEAs should only be employed to monitor the health facilities to ensure quality monitoring on the given indicators and may not be involved in any additional tasks.

CLARIFICATION REGARDING CHANGE OF PROFESSION IN PASSPORT

Government of Pakistan, Directorate General, Immigration & Passports (Headquarter) issued Clarification regarding Change of Profession in Passport. In continuation of this Directorate General circular of even number dated 11-03-2019.
