IMPLEMENTATION OF 25% FEE DISCOUNT TO STUDENTS BY THE PRIVATE SCHOOLS DURING COVID-19 IN HAFIZABAD

Chief Executive Officer, District Education Authority Hafizabad issued a letter by the order of Deputy Commissioner Hafizabad addressed to all the private schools of Hafizabad regarding implementation of 25% fee discount to students during COVID-19.

In Continuation letter NO. 930/Admn dated: 25-04-2020 regarding 25% fee discount as well as reference to Ordinance No. Legis:13-29/2003(p-1) dated 22-04-2020 promulgated by the Governor of the Punjab, Issued by the Govt. of the Punjab Law and Parliamentary Affairs Lahore, Wherein insertion of section 12D in the ordinance IV of 1984 in the Punjab Private Educational Institutions (Promotion and Regulation) Ordinance, 1984 (IV of 1984)after section 12 C the following new section 12 D shall be inserted:


"Special directive,- The Registering Authority may issue special directives for closure of schools and for ensuring that students are imparted education thorough alternative means in special circumstances including but not limited to calamities, epidemics, flood, wars, environment or natural disasters, or when the Registering Authority deems that physical presence of students at schools is hazardous of their health and Registering Authority may also issue directions determining the deem to be charged by the schools for the period during such special directives remain in field."


Furthermore, the School Education Department, Govt. of the Punjab Lahore, Vide Notification No. SO (ACADE-1)1-13/2008, dated 22-04-2020 directed the District Registering Authorities to implement the said direction in true letter and spirit regarding the fee discount. The Head / Administrators / Owners/Principals of Private Schools, District Hafizabad (Including any kind of true School or running by any NGO) having fee structure above Rs. 4000/- as well as having fee structure less than Rs. 4000/- are hereby directed to comply with the above said direction to comply with the above said direction till the epidemic of Covid-19 Crises. You are further directed to issue revise fee challan 25% discount immediately if not issued earlier.


In view of the above, you are further directed to submit Compliance Certificate /report within three days positively in the office of undersigned. In case of Non-Compliance, Strict action will be taken under prevailing rules.

CIVIL SERVANTS EFFICIENCY AND DISCIPLINE RULES 2020

  Government of Pakistan, Cabinet Secretariat (Establishment Division) made Civil Servants Efficiency and Discipline Rules, 2020.  Prime Minister approved to make the following rules:-  1. COUNTER SIGNATURE ON PERs OF TEACHING STAFF AND THEIR UPLOADING ON SIS

  Directorate of Public Instruction(EE), Punjab Lahore issued directions regarding counter signatures on Performance Evaluation Reports (PERs) of teaching staff and their uploading on School Information System (SIS).           Through a number of complaints received from different corners it has learnt that in the field offices, teachers are facing problems in getting countersignature on their performance evaluation reports(PERs) to update in HRMIS.            The matter has seriously been viewed.
