IRRELEVANT ASSIGNMENTS ASSIGNED TO THE COMPUTER TEACHERS OF SCHOOLS

Government of the Punjab, School Education Department issued a letter regarding No Irrelevant Task Other Than Teaching be Assigned to Computer Teachers.
  • Keeping in view the need of the era and importance of Computer / IT Education, it has already been conveyed that prime duly of IT / Computer Teacher is to impart education to students and no irrelevant task such as data entry, clerical work may be assigned to them. It has been observed that such instructions are not being followed in letter and spirit, which is not tolerable.
  • In view of above, it is once again directed that no irrelevant task other than teaching be assigned to Computer / IT Teachers and the same be circulated for strict compliance.

CLARIFICATION REGARDING CHANGE OF PROFESSION IN PASSPORT

Government of Pakistan, Directorate General, Immigration & Passports (Headquarter) issued Clarification regarding Change of Profession in Passport. In continuation of this Directorate General circular of even number dated 11-03-2019. The following clarifications are given as under: Case#1:- Hujjaj who obtained passports in private capacity being a government servant and have deposited their passport with Ministry of Religious Affairs or proceeded abroad for performing Hajj / Hajj duty. COUNTER SIGNATURE ON PERs OF TEACHING STAFF AND THEIR UPLOADING ON SIS

  Directorate of Public Instruction(EE), Punjab Lahore issued directions regarding counter signatures on Performance Evaluation Reports (PERs) of teaching staff and their uploading on School Information System (SIS).           Through a number of complaints received from different corners it has learnt that in the field offices, teachers are facing problems in getting countersignature on their performance evaluation reports(PERs) to update in HRMIS.            The matter has seriously been viewed.
