ILLEGAL SALE AND OVERCHARGING IN PSO PUMPS AT KPK AND PUNJAB

Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority issued a letter regarding Illegal Sale and Over Charging in PSO Pumps at KPK and Punjab.
Enclosed herewith please find self explanatory complaint(s), on the above subject.

  • Consumer price of each pump of every OMC is available on OGRA'S website and the websites of OMCs.
  • Overcharging is cognizable by yourself under section 4 Petroleum Levy (Surcharge) Ordinance 1961. (amendment of 1981) read with section 3 of Profiteering and Hoarding Act 1977. And less filling is required to be checked and action be taken under weight and measure Act, by weight and measure / Labour Department.
  • You are therefore, requested to issue necessary direction to concerned district administrative officer for controlling hoarding overcharging and less measurement, please.

GRANT OF ADDITIONAL CHARGE ALLOWANCE

Government of the Punjab, Finance Department issued clarification regarding grant of additional charge allowance. I am directed to refer to this Department's circular letter No.FD.SRII.2-38/70, dated 17.03.1988, on the subject cited above and state that following questions have arisen about the subject matter: Whether additional charge allowance for more than one posts can be granted to the same officer? Whether additional charge allowance against a post lower in status than the incumbent post-of the officer, holding the charge, can be allowed?  The case has been examined in the Finance Department. TIME SCALE UP-GRADATION TO NEXT HIGHER SCALE OF OFFICERS OF PITC

  Managing Director, Pakistan Electric Power Company (PVT.) Limited (PEPCO) issued an office order regarding time scale upgradation of officers of PITC from BPS-19 to BPS-20.
