AMENDMENT IN THE PROMOTION POLICY 2010 FOR TEACHERS

Government of the Punjab, Services & General Administration Department (Regulations Wing) issued Amendment in the Promotion Policy 2010 for Teachers.

  • The Chief Minister, Punjab has been pleased to approve the following further amendment in para 6 (8) (a) of the Promotion Policy - 2010:
  • "Para 6(8)(a)
  • Teachers, whose results are compared with the results of the Boards / Universities, last three years terminal board results may be considered out of which any two year's results should be equal or within the margin of 10% below (for each result)-from the concerned board / university result, while remaining one year's result may be ignored provided that other service record of the officer concerned is satisfactory. 
  • Note: In case of head of teaching institution, overall result of the Institution may be considered."
  • Furthermore, the Chief Minister has desired that more weightage may be given to the service record of the employees during the last five years.

CLARIFICATION REGARDING CHANGE OF PROFESSION IN PASSPORT

Government of Pakistan, Directorate General, Immigration & Passports (Headquarter) issued Clarification regarding Change of Profession in Passport. In continuation of this Directorate General circular of even number dated 11-03-2019. The following clarifications are given as under: Case#1:- Hujjaj who obtained passports in private capacity being a government servant and have deposited their passport with Ministry of Religious Affairs or proceeded abroad for performing Hajj / Hajj duty. COUNTER SIGNATURE ON PERs OF TEACHING STAFF AND THEIR UPLOADING ON SIS

  Directorate of Public Instruction(EE), Punjab Lahore issued directions regarding counter signatures on Performance Evaluation Reports (PERs) of teaching staff and their uploading on School Information System (SIS).           Through a number of complaints received from different corners it has learnt that in the field offices, teachers are facing problems in getting countersignature on their performance evaluation reports(PERs) to update in HRMIS.            The matter has seriously been viewed.
