CLARIFICATION REGARDING TIME SCALE PROMOTION FROM THE DATE OF REGULAR APPOINTMENT OR UP-GRADATION OF POST

Government of the Punjab, Finance Department issued Clarification Regarding Grant of Time Scale Promotion from the Date of Regular Appointment or from the Date of Up-Gradation of Post.

  • I am directed to refer to this Department's Notifications Nos FD.PC 39-14177(Pt-IV(APCA/08(Provi) dated 04.01.2016, FD PC 40-80/2015 dated 26.07.2017, and all other orders under which up-gradation was allowed to certain employees, and to state that a question has arisen as to whether the length of service for the grant of Time Scale Promotion would be counted from the date of regular appointment or from the date of up-gradation of post?
  • It is clarified for all concerned that the length of service in the same scale for the grant of Time Scale Promotion would be counted from the date of up-gradation / promotion / regular appointment (whichever is later) of the post held by the concerned incumbent.

CLARIFICATION REGARDING CHANGE OF PROFESSION IN PASSPORT

Government of Pakistan, Directorate General, Immigration & Passports (Headquarter) issued Clarification regarding Change of Profession in Passport. In continuation of this Directorate General circular of even number dated 11-03-2019. The following clarifications are given as under: Case#1:- Hujjaj who obtained passports in private capacity being a government servant and have deposited their passport with Ministry of Religious Affairs or proceeded abroad for performing Hajj / Hajj duty. COUNTER SIGNATURE ON PERs OF TEACHING STAFF AND THEIR UPLOADING ON SIS

  Directorate of Public Instruction(EE), Punjab Lahore issued directions regarding counter signatures on Performance Evaluation Reports (PERs) of teaching staff and their uploading on School Information System (SIS).           Through a number of complaints received from different corners it has learnt that in the field offices, teachers are facing problems in getting countersignature on their performance evaluation reports(PERs) to update in HRMIS.            The matter has seriously been viewed.
