CHANCES OF EARTHQUAKE AFTERSHOCKS IN NEXT 24 HOURS

Government of Pakistan, Prime Minister's Office, National Disaster Management Authority, Islamabad issued warning of aftershocks in the next 24 hours due to today earthquake.
  • In view of 5.8 magnitude with 10 Kilometre depth and 80 KM South East of Rawalpindi at Epicentre Jhelum earthquake on 24 September 2019, there are likely chances of aftershocks in the next 24 hours. You are requested to take all necessary precautionary measures to avoid any loss of lives and damage to public as well as private property.
  • You are also requested to share details of losses / damages if any, please.

CLARIFICATION REGARDING CHANGE OF PROFESSION IN PASSPORT

Government of Pakistan, Directorate General, Immigration & Passports (Headquarter) issued Clarification regarding Change of Profession in Passport. In continuation of this Directorate General circular of even number dated 11-03-2019. The following clarifications are given as under: Case#1:- Hujjaj who obtained passports in private capacity being a government servant and have deposited their passport with Ministry of Religious Affairs or proceeded abroad for performing Hajj / Hajj duty.   Directorate of Public Instruction(EE), Punjab Lahore issued directions regarding counter signatures on Performance Evaluation Reports (PERs) of teaching staff and their uploading on School Information System (SIS).           Through a number of complaints received from different corners it has learnt that in the field offices, teachers are facing problems in getting countersignature on their performance evaluation reports(PERs) to update in HRMIS.            The matter has seriously been viewed.
