CLARIFICATION REGARDING UP-GRADATION OF POSTS OF COMPUTER PERSONNEL OF PUNJAB EMERGENCY SERVICE PUNJAB RESCUE 1122

Government of the Punjab, Finance Department issued notification regarding up-gradation of posts of Computer Personnel.

  • The case has been examined. It is observed that the Director General, Punjab Emergency Service (Rescue 1122) has upgraded 111 posts of Computer Personnel from BS-11 to BS-15 with revised designation as "Computer Operator vide Order bearing No.322/2019(PES) dated 25.02.2019 issued by Director General, PES (Rescue 1122) on the basis of the possessed qualification by the incumbents taking into consideration the circular letter bearing No.FD.PC.40-43/2017(E) dated 14.12.2018 issued by Finance Department.
  • It is stated in this regard that according to Finance Department's circular letter mentioned above, the Data Entry Operators / Computer Operators /KPO etc. who were recruited in BS-5,6,7,8,10,11 on the basis of qualification FA/ICS have been placed in MS Office/ BS-12 by enhancing / revising prescribed qualification to intermediate Division) with 40 wpm speed on computer alongwith its re-designation as Junior Computer Operator w.e.f. 14.12.2018. However, it is pointed out that the computer personnel having higher qualification of BA/B.Com are not entitled to higher pay scale Le BS-15 according to said circular letter.
  • Finance Department further observes that although, the above circular letters applicable only to civil servants, however, if an institution / autonomous body etc. adopts if, then it should follow the true prospects of the circular letter.
  • As the order bearing No.322/2019(PES) dated 25.02.2019 issued by Director General, Punjab Emergency Service (Rescue 1122) does not fulfill the requirements of Finance Department's circular letter dated 14.12.2018, the Director General, Punjab Emergency Service (Rescue 1122) may be advised to withdraw his order dated 25.02.2019 being not covered under the circular letter of Finance Department mentioned above.

CIVIL SERVANTS EFFICIENCY AND DISCIPLINE RULES 2020

  Government of Pakistan, Cabinet Secretariat (Establishment Division) made Civil Servants Efficiency and Discipline Rules, 2020.  Prime Minister approved to make the following rules:-  1. COUNTER SIGNATURE ON PERs OF TEACHING STAFF AND THEIR UPLOADING ON SIS

  Directorate of Public Instruction(EE), Punjab Lahore issued directions regarding counter signatures on Performance Evaluation Reports (PERs) of teaching staff and their uploading on School Information System (SIS).           Through a number of complaints received from different corners it has learnt that in the field offices, teachers are facing problems in getting countersignature on their performance evaluation reports(PERs) to update in HRMIS.            The matter has seriously been viewed.
