VISITS OF SPECIAL EDUCATION INSTITUTES BY PROVINCIAL MINISTERS IN THEIR RESPECTIVE DISTRICTS

Minister for Special Education, Punjab issued a letter regarding Arrange of Visits of Special Education Institutes by Provincial Ministers in Their Respective Districts.

  • Government of the Punjab supports Special Education and is committed to enhance enrollment and learning ability of special children in the Institutions / Centers of Special Education in Punjab through provision of additional educational services, use of technology, specialized teaching aids, accessible infrastructure, and psycho-medical services. Further, the Government will continue to focus on quality education, access and coverage of children with special needs through conducive learning environment Special Education Department is providing education to special students through the chain of 294 Special Education Institutions and following incentives are being provided to the enrolled special students:
  • Free Education
  • Free Text / Braille Books
  • Free Pick & Drop facility
  • Stipend of Rs. 800/- per month, per child
  • Three uniforms annually
  • Assessment of Disability / Guidance and Counseling
  • Therapeutic services - Speech Therapy, Psychotherapy & Physiotherapy to special students
  • The Cabinet Committee for "Reviewing Punjab's Quarterly Growth Targets" reviewed progress of Special Education Department in its meeting dated 01.07.2019 and desired that the Provincial Ministers may visit Special Education Institutions working in their respective districts.
  • In view of above, you are requested to personally visit Special Education Institutions and development projects of your district to ensure effective service delivery and improved performance in the Punjab province (list of special education institutions of district Vehari and detail of schemes are enclosed).

CLARIFICATION REGARDING CHANGE OF PROFESSION IN PASSPORT

Government of Pakistan, Directorate General, Immigration & Passports (Headquarter) issued Clarification regarding Change of Profession in Passport. In continuation of this Directorate General circular of even number dated 11-03-2019. The following clarifications are given as under: Case#1:- Hujjaj who obtained passports in private capacity being a government servant and have deposited their passport with Ministry of Religious Affairs or proceeded abroad for performing Hajj / Hajj duty. CIVIL SERVANTS EFFICIENCY AND DISCIPLINE RULES 2020

  Government of Pakistan, Cabinet Secretariat (Establishment Division) made Civil Servants Efficiency and Discipline Rules, 2020.  Prime Minister approved to make the following rules:-  1. Short title, Commencement and Application:-  (1) These rules shall be called the Civil Servants (Efficiency and Discipline) Rules, 2020.  (2) These shall come into force at once and shall apply to every Civil Servant. 2.  Definitions:-  (1) In these rules, unless there is anything repugnant in the subject or context requires otherwise; (a) "Act" means Civil Servants Act, 1973 (Act No. LXXI of 1973); (b) "accused" means a civil servant against whom action is initiated under these rules; (c) "authority" means the appointing authority as prescribed in rule 6 of the Civil Servants (Appointment, Promotion and Transfer) Rules, 1973: Provided that where proceedings under these rules are to be initiated against two or more civil servants jointly, the authority in relation

COUNTER SIGNATURE ON PERs OF TEACHING STAFF AND THEIR UPLOADING ON SIS

  Directorate of Public Instruction(EE), Punjab Lahore issued directions regarding counter signatures on Performance Evaluation Reports (PERs) of teaching staff and their uploading on School Information System (SIS).           Through a number of complaints received from different corners it has learnt that in the field offices, teachers are facing problems in getting countersignature on their performance evaluation reports(PERs) to update in HRMIS.            The matter has seriously been viewed. In this regard you are directed to make it simple and easy for all teachers through establishing PERs desks in CEO office, where all such teachers who have not yet got countersigned their PERs will submit their PERs for counter signature from the concerned countersigning officer.            The incharge / focal person of desk shall provide these PERs to · concerned counter singing authority through special messenger and after counter signature the counter signing authority will provide PERs t
