Government of the Punjab, Technical Education & Vocational Training Authority issued Notification Regarding Regularization / Introduction of Pension Scheme of all Tevta Employees.
In pursuance of approval of TEVTA Board in its 47th meeting held on 12.03.2013, Rule 11(3) of TEVTA Rules 2011 and earlier notification dated 11.03.2016 regarding regularization / introduction of pension scheme of all TEVTA employees, the following clarifications are hereby issued;
In pursuance of approval of TEVTA Board in its 47th meeting held on 12.03.2013, Rule 11(3) of TEVTA Rules 2011 and earlier notification dated 11.03.2016 regarding regularization / introduction of pension scheme of all TEVTA employees, the following clarifications are hereby issued;
- Pensionable service of all TEVTA regular employees shall be considered from the date of initial appointment in terms of Rule 2.3 of Chapter II of Punjab Civil Services Pension Rules (already adopted by TEVTA Board).
- The pensionable service shall be considered in respect of only those TEVTA employees who were on the payroll of TEVTA on the cut-off date of 11.03.2016 and fulfill the qualifying period as per the aforementioned pension rules.
- The amount of Leave Fare Assistance (LFA) equal to one month gross salary, already availed by TEVTA employees prior to 11.03.2016, shall be deductible at the time of retirement from his / her commutation / gratuity.
