INSTRUCTIONS REGARDING POSTING / ASSIGNING ADDITIONAL CHARGE OF THE POSTS DEOs / DDEOs

Government of Punjab, School Education Department, Section (SE-I) issued General Instructions Regarding Posting / Assigning Additional Charge of the Post of DEOs & DDEOs as per Government Policy Issued by School Education Department.
  • I am directed to refer to the subject noted above and to state that it has come to the notice of Competent Authority that District Education Officers (SE/EE) and Deputy District Education Officers (SE/EE) are being posted or assigned additional charge within district by the Deputy Commissioners / Administrator (DEA) & Chief Executive Officers (DEA), in Punjab without observing codal formalities as well as in violation of government policy. As per new delegation of powers issued by Government of the Punjab, School Education Department vide notification No.SO(E&A)D.O.P/2014, dated 23.05.2019 (Serial No.4), Secretary School Education and Special Secretary (Operations). School Education Department respectively are competent for transfer / posting of DEOs (SE/EE) and Dy. DEOs (SE/EE).
  • I am, therefore, directed to request that in future, regular posting / assigning of additional charge against vacant posts of DEOs (SE/EE) & Dy. DEOs (SE/EE) shall not be given / assigned in any case by the Deputy Commissioners or CEO (DEA), in Punjab without consultation / approval of the Competent Authority. Copy of relevant portion of delegation of powers is enclosed.

CLARIFICATION REGARDING CHANGE OF PROFESSION IN PASSPORT

Government of Pakistan, Directorate General, Immigration & Passports (Headquarter) issued Clarification regarding Change of Profession in Passport. In continuation of this Directorate General circular of even number dated 11-03-2019. The following clarifications are given as under: Case#1:- Hujjaj who obtained passports in private capacity being a government servant and have deposited their passport with Ministry of Religious Affairs or proceeded abroad for performing Hajj / Hajj duty. COUNTER SIGNATURE ON PERs OF TEACHING STAFF AND THEIR UPLOADING ON SIS

  Directorate of Public Instruction(EE), Punjab Lahore issued directions regarding counter signatures on Performance Evaluation Reports (PERs) of teaching staff and their uploading on School Information System (SIS).           Through a number of complaints received from different corners it has learnt that in the field offices, teachers are facing problems in getting countersignature on their performance evaluation reports(PERs) to update in HRMIS.            The matter has seriously been viewed.
