Provincial Disaster Management Authority Punjab (PDMA) intimated flood situation in the rivers due to the strong Monsoon Rain.
Flood Forecasting Division, Lahore vide its Advisory / Alert, No. A-03/19, dated 22.7.2019 has intimated that according to the latest Hydro Meteorological prevailing conditions, a strong Monsoon rain bearing system is likely to affect the upper catchments of all the major rivers. Under the influence of this weather system, rivers situation from 25th to 27th July is likely to remain as under:
It is requested that all concerned maybe informed to take necessary precautionary measures in vulnerable areas to avoid any loss of life/damage to Public as well as private property under intimation to PDMA, Punjab.

- HIGH to very HIGH Flood with sharp peaks of Exceptional HIGH Flood are expected Upstream of Mangla.
- HIGH to Very HIGH Flood is also likely in River Chenab at Marala and it's downstream.
- Flows may attain Medium to High Flood level in Rivers Indus at Tarbela along with its tributaries.
- Flows are likely to cross HIGH Flood level in the Nullahs of Rivers Ravi (Hasri, Bein, Basanter, Ujh, Jhajri, Kather & Deg) & Chenab (Palku, Aik & Bhimber).
- Urban Flooding is also likely in Rawalpindi, Faisalabad, Gujranwala, Lahore & Sargodha Divisions.
