UP-GRADATION OF POST OF DRIVER

Government of Gilgit Baltistan, Gilgit Baltistan Secretariat (S&GAD and Cabinet Department) issued a notification regarding up-gradation of posts of Driver.


In pursuance of the decision of Gilgit Baltistan Cabinet's 15th meeting held on 08.03.2019, the competent authority has been pleased to upgrade 620 posts of Driver from BS-04 to BS-05 and further granted time scale promotion as detailed below:-
  • On initial appointment BS-05
  • BS-06 shall be granted after completion of 4 years
  • BS-07 shall be granted after completion of 8 years service
  • BS-08 shall be granted after completion of 10 years
  • BS-09 shall be granted after completion of 12 years
  • BS-10 shall be granted after completion of 15 years service
  • BS-11 shall be granted after completion of 20 years

All procedures / codal formalities must be adopted by the competent departments as per recruitment rules. However, the up-gradation of posts shall take effect from the date of receipt of financial concurrence from Finance Islamabad and subsequent endorsement by Finance Department GB.

GRANT OF ADDITIONAL CHARGE ALLOWANCE

Government of the Punjab, Finance Department issued clarification regarding grant of additional charge allowance. I am directed to refer to this Department's circular letter No.FD.SRII.2-38/70, dated 17.03.1988, on the subject cited above and state that following questions have arisen about the subject matter: Whether additional charge allowance for more than one posts can be granted to the same officer? Whether additional charge allowance against a post lower in status than the incumbent post-of the officer, holding the charge, can be allowed?  The case has been examined in the Finance Department. TIME SCALE UP-GRADATION TO NEXT HIGHER SCALE OF OFFICERS OF PITC

  Managing Director, Pakistan Electric Power Company (PVT.) Limited (PEPCO) issued an office order regarding time scale upgradation of officers of PITC from BPS-19 to BPS-20.
