INCREASE IN SALARIES OF GOVERNMENT EMPLOYEES AS PER BUDGET SPEECH 2019-20

As per budget speech, Federal Government announced scale wise salaries increase for Financial Year 2019-20.


  • 10% adhoc relief allowance will be granted on the running basic pay of BPS 2017 to the employees from Grade 1 to 16.
  • 5% adhoc relief allowance will be granted to the employees from Grade 17 to 20.
  • There will be no increase for employees from Grade 21 to 22.

  • 10% will be increased in net pension for pensioners.
  • Special Conveyance Allowance from Rs.1000/- to Rs.2000/- per month will be increased for Special / Disabled Employees.
  • There will be 25% increase in the salaries of Special Private Secretary, Private Secretary and Assistant Private Secretary working with Ministers, Federal Ministers, Parliamentary Secretary, Additional Secretary and Joint Secretary.

GRANT OF ADDITIONAL CHARGE ALLOWANCE

Government of the Punjab, Finance Department issued clarification regarding grant of additional charge allowance. I am directed to refer to this Department's circular letter No.FD.SRII.2-38/70, dated 17.03.1988, on the subject cited above and state that following questions have arisen about the subject matter: Whether additional charge allowance for more than one posts can be granted to the same officer? Whether additional charge allowance against a post lower in status than the incumbent post-of the officer, holding the charge, can be allowed?  The case has been examined in the Finance Department. TIME SCALE UP-GRADATION TO NEXT HIGHER SCALE OF OFFICERS OF PITC

  Managing Director, Pakistan Electric Power Company (PVT.) Limited (PEPCO) issued an office order regarding time scale upgradation of officers of PITC from BPS-19 to BPS-20.
