PRIME MINISTER'S MEGA SPORT INITIATIVE REGARDING REVIVAL OF SPORT IN PUNJAB

Government of the Punjab, School Education Department issued a letter regarding Prime Minister’s Mega Sports Initiative Regarding Revival of Sports in Punjab.


Competent authority has been pleased to request to direct all the Chief Executive Officers (DEA) in the Punjab to ensure compliance on the following actions:-
  • Both the Director Public Instruction (SE/EE), Punjab will ensure that following measures by taken by all Chief Executive Officers (DEA) in the Punjab. 
  1. A complete directory/Inventory of playgrounds available in all schools shall be prepared at district level by March 31, 2019. 
  2. Two periods per weeks shall be earmarked for sports for each class in every school. It shall be ensured that every student get a change to actively participate in sports.
  3. Schools shall use funds from their non-salary budgets and FTF to buy the required Sports Kits, rehabilitation of Playgrounds, Sports Competitions of students’ refreshment and their traveling expenditures.
  4. Every School will make efforts to provide sports facilities/opportunities regarding Athletics, Basketball, Badminton, Cricket, Cycling, Football, Gymnastics, Handball, Hockey, Netball, Table Tennis, Tug of War, Volleyball, to the students.
  5. Every school shall promote the subject of Health & Physical Education at Secondary and Higher Secondary Levels.
  6. To sensitize the students and teachers about the need and benefits of sports in schools.
  7. Flexes, posters and banners highlighting importance of sports be displayed in schools.
  8. To ensure Team of each game of every school shall participate in these competitions.
  9. To develop sports competition plan.
  10. School Sports Councils may be establishment by taking representative of eminent sports persons form the area.
  • Both the Director Public Instruction (SE/EE) Punjab will ensure that all Chief Executive Officers (DEA) will have to arrange SPORTS COMPETITIONS 2019 in all Primary, Elementary, High and Higher Secondary Schools as per following schedule / sports Calendar.

Government of Pakistan, Directorate General, Immigration & Passports (Headquarter) issued Clarification regarding Change of Profession in Passport. In continuation of this Directorate General circular of even number dated 11-03-2019. CIVIL SERVANTS EFFICIENCY AND DISCIPLINE RULES 2020

  Government of Pakistan, Cabinet Secretariat (Establishment Division) made Civil Servants Efficiency and Discipline Rules, 2020.  Prime Minister approved to make the following rules:-  1. Short title, Commencement and Application:-  (1) These rules shall be called the Civil Servants (Efficiency and Discipline) Rules, 2020.  (2) These shall come into force at once and shall apply to every Civil Servant. 2.  Definitions:-  (1) In these rules, unless there is anything repugnant in the subject or context requires otherwise; (a) "Act" means Civil Servants Act, 1973 (Act No. LXXI of 1973); (b) "accused" means a civil servant against whom action is initiated under these rules; (c) "authority" means the appointing authority as prescribed in rule 6 of the Civil Servants (Appointment, Promotion and Transfer) Rules, 1973: Provided that where proceedings under these rules are to be initiated against two or more civil servants jointly, the authority in relation

COUNTER SIGNATURE ON PERs OF TEACHING STAFF AND THEIR UPLOADING ON SIS

  Directorate of Public Instruction(EE), Punjab Lahore issued directions regarding counter signatures on Performance Evaluation Reports (PERs) of teaching staff and their uploading on School Information System (SIS).           Through a number of complaints received from different corners it has learnt that in the field offices, teachers are facing problems in getting countersignature on their performance evaluation reports(PERs) to update in HRMIS.            The matter has seriously been viewed. In this regard you are directed to make it simple and easy for all teachers through establishing PERs desks in CEO office, where all such teachers who have not yet got countersigned their PERs will submit their PERs for counter signature from the concerned countersigning officer.            The incharge / focal person of desk shall provide these PERs to · concerned counter singing authority through special messenger and after counter signature the counter signing authority will provide PERs t
