PROPOSAL OF THE FINANCE DEPARTMENT TO DOWNGRADE THE POST OF ASSISTANT FROM BS-16 TO BS-15

Government of the Punjab, Services & General Administration Department (Regulations Wing), Section Officer (R-III) issued a clarification letter regarding proposal of down-gradation of the post of Assistant from BS-16 to BS-15.


Detail of Letter:-

The Regulations Wing, S&GAD has examined the matter and it is observed that the basic qualification for the post of Assistant is B.A, whereas the qualification for the post of Stenographer is F.A. Therefore, the incumbents of both the posts cannot have parity in terms of scale or status. Furthermore, financial benefits once extended cannot be withdrawn. In addition, if the post of Assistant is down-graded at this juncture, it will rise to unnecessary instigation.

CLARIFICATION REGARDING CHANGE OF PROFESSION IN PASSPORT

Government of Pakistan, Directorate General, Immigration & Passports (Headquarter) issued Clarification regarding Change of Profession in Passport. In continuation of this Directorate General circular of even number dated 11-03-2019. The following clarifications are given as under: Case#1:- Hujjaj who obtained passports in private capacity being a government servant and have deposited their passport with Ministry of Religious Affairs or proceeded abroad for performing Hajj / Hajj duty.
