IMPORTANT NEWS:- POSTPONE AND NEW DATE FOR MEDICAL & DENTAL COLLEGES ADMISSION TEST (MDCAT) 2018


University of Health Sciences Lahore, Vice Chancellor issued an important public announcement regarding postponing and new date for Medical & Dental Colleges Admission Test, 2018.

Detail is as Follows:-

Keeping in view the sanctity of Muharram ul Haram, the Government of the Punjab has decided to postpone the Medical & Dental Colleges Admission Test (MDCAT) 2018 scheduled to be held on Sunday, 16th September, 2018.

The MDCAT-2018 shall now be held on Sunday, 23rd September, 2018 at 10:00AM.

The Admittance Cards which have already been issued to the candidates shall remain valid and the candidates shall be eligible to appear in the test on the basis of these Admittance Cards. All the other terns and conditions for the test shall remain the same.

GRANT OF ADDITIONAL CHARGE ALLOWANCE

Government of the Punjab, Finance Department issued clarification regarding grant of additional charge allowance. I am directed to refer to this Department's circular letter No.FD.SRII.2-38/70, dated 17.03.1988, on the subject cited above and state that following questions have arisen about the subject matter: Whether additional charge allowance for more than one posts can be granted to the same officer? Whether additional charge allowance against a post lower in status than the incumbent post-of the officer, holding the charge, can be allowed?  The case has been examined in the Finance Department.
